Well done Richard! -
Many of the parts (4mm) Adrian produced are now available from other suppliers such as Lanarkshire Model Supplies. The SR buffers mentioned above I believe are. The parts I think may be missed most are the brakegear sets mainly for freight stock. These made for quick building and a more than acceptable appearance for many of us.

If the trains discussed here were formed of milk tank wagons and a brake van then they are clearly not passenger trains. They would be signalled by the relevent bell code for pereshables or parcels trains, usually class 3 or 4. Passenger trains are class 1 or 2. Any passenger train conveying parcel vans, horse boxes, milk tanks or fitted goods wagons is still signallled as a passenger train. Mixed trains ran only where authorised may contain unfitted vehicles.

I recall seeing the LIverpool Street to Harwich boat trains with the ex Pullmans in their formations and possibly the Gresley Buffet as well. This would have been early to mid seventies.

It's ok Clive. We all realise you would need a total mental reset after singlehandedly operating that huge DCC layout on Saturday!😆🤣🤣 -

That's an order, Clive... not a request.. -
Apologies for repeated postings. When I posted, a red note appeared saying to the effect that short posted messages must wait, and gave a time of a few seconds or up to a minuite. This kept happening with no showing of my message so I gave up. I retuned to 'my followed content' only to find them all there! If anyone is able to remove the duplicates, please do so.

You'll be fine Clive with that bracing Skeggy air nearby. We've only got Essex air sometimes with added London pollution. I tested positive back in January, I felt a bit chilly, as though I had a slight temperture. Went to bed earlier than usual and stayed at home for a few days. Afterwards felt better and tested clear. -

Hi Kevin, Is there anyway you can delete this ad, or at least mark it as 'sold' please! I find it frustrating to see it on the 'forums' page every time I log in on RM Web. -

I don't think any of our lot will be there Clive, so that's about ten less insults to deal with! -
Now restored and on display indoors. It contains a display of London Tilbury & Southend Railway items. AT Mangapps Railway, Essex

Not odd, but by 1982 old, and the wheels even older!

Very fine job you have made there! Have you seen any images of these kitchen cars in maroon during BR times. The views I've seen so far are of vehicles in crimson/cream. According to the Hugh Longworth book the last ones appear to have been withdrawn by the end of 1963. So I'm wondering if any survived in revarnished/modified LMS livery or ever got painted in BR maroon.

Good use of the trophy base Richard. Hope you have kept the trophy to award it to yourself when you complete the loco. -
