Good luck with the appointment although you may not looking forward to it but at least you will be off for the Christmas period so it's not all bad.
Looking forward to some more updates on the layout

Great photo's ......How empty the roads look compared with today....
I used to park my car on the platform in 1987 as I only worked at Baker Street and am still employed there.

Impressive ...... It's different & by the amount of people stopping and watching the re-railing it kept them amused as it did me watching the video..
Well done Aperthorn Junction

This week has been spent adding some perspex to the front on the layout to prevent any stock accidentally being knocked off the railway.
Then I started on some platform lighting.

Mr Andy
Are you not the modern day version of Dr Beeching.......
Build it, Close it.... LOL
Blimey, if we give you two weeks of doing nothing .... Will we have a few new layouts to drool over?
Jim
Lovely photos of an area that I only managed to visit a few times as my parents lived at Widdrington. I do like the last photo of 08888 shunting the MGR wagons but interestingly the points are facing the wrong way ...... curious as to why they have been designed like this unless they are manually operated on the ground..
Great pictures

This layout is inspirational and I have had the privilege of seeing it in the flesh a couple of times and spending the odd few hours watching it ...... I just hope the society will add sound to the loco's ..... a 9F or a black 5 chuffing up "The Summit" .... Awesome
OMG ..... this will take the layout to another level
