    Great photo's ......How empty the roads look compared with today.... I used to park my car on the platform in 1987 as I only worked at Baker Street and am still employed there. Jim

    This week has been spent adding some perspex to the front on the layout to prevent any stock accidentally being knocked off the railway. Then I started on some platform lighting. Jim

    Lovely photos of an area that I only managed to visit a few times as my parents lived at Widdrington. I do like the last photo of 08888 shunting the MGR wagons but interestingly the points are facing the wrong way ...... curious as to why they have been designed like this unless they are manually operated on the ground.. Great pictures Jim

    This layout is inspirational and I have had the privilege of seeing it in the flesh a couple of times and spending the odd few hours watching it ...... I just hope the society will add sound to the loco's ..... a 9F or a black 5 chuffing up "The Summit" .... Awesome OMG ..... this will take the layout to another level
