Hi Jason I would help you on bacup if you take it on members day. We have people on the railway who says they have no interest in it but really the do. We call them closet cranks lol

just to let the people who was helping me with my 00 stove r what keeps falling off the rails well i have glued the swinging carriers on both sides and i have elongated the middle carrier to go up an down . tried the thing on my layout and 6 hours latter its still on rails not come off once . thank you for your help and advice everyone who advised me on the stove r a very happy axelcounter (mark )

the pach on my head is when i was a tech for vauxhall and i had an ageument with a vectra gearbox the thing fell on my head and if you look close you can see the blood went all over the white wall that was about 6 years ago and i am not any good with ballasting ether lol by the way jason you must have some skill building your buildings not like me but it is looking really good

you are right they have been around since the 1800 acording to my folks. someone tried to stop this a couple of years ago the same time around when a jam company stop doing them bagdes

hay sandside will send you them pics this weekend the nutters are good and they go from pub to pub dancing and drinking . its a good weekend may bankholiday is the best time to see them and as i say i will send them pics ok mark towers

hello sandside your layout has real look to bacup and i will send you the pics when my scanner comes back also i am not a co nut lol its just a good reson to get merry lol but you have done a good job on it

i have some pics of bacup from the signal box and some of the signal box my granddad was a signaller there i built bacup years ago and sold it (wish i still had it ) also i know a bit about the area i was brought and still live in bacup (someone has to lol ) i use to go though the tunnel before they bricked it up if you need any pics let me know

there is bad news for the signallers too. network rail want to shut all boxes and put up 12 new rocs by 2024 -
when they do sort out the blackpool line they first have to put colour lights in because at the mo they have semaphore signals .

dose he have a death wish in one pic he is holding his camera while a container train passes him prize pratt. i had one lastnight trying to stand on top of the barriers while the steam train was going past thing is i told him to get off and he said that the barriers are in my way of the steam train. To make it worse he was about 50-60 years old he should know better
