  1. I think you'd struggle with creating the baseboard, but apart from that, yes, probably.
  2. In a feedback to them, before Covid, but after their last website upgrade, I told them that I thought that it looked, and worked, like an abandoned primary school project, totally un-intuitive. They rang me, but couldn't see how frustrating it was to put in '7mm wagon kits', but get pictures of N gauge wagons, 0-16,5 track, etc, instead! So don't hold your breath, waiting for a better website!
  3. Although I remember, quite clearly, using the coins shown, and remember their names, ha'penny, thru'penny bit, tanner, I don't remember, or know, what the difference between an e shilling and an s shilling is!
  4. I disagree, but not for the reason you're thinking. Grab as much cable as you can, then bag it up and weigh it in at your local scrap metal dealer, you'll need to take ID for proof of who you are (driving licence). I'm getting about £15 per rubble bag full, no need to strip it, just separate out any BT cable, they won't/can't accept it, and its's normally paid straight into your account. It's a great way to fund your hobby!
  5. These all have an axle length of about 51mm
  6. I might have 1 more pair, but I haven't found them yet.
  7. Did you manage to source any wheels, or do you still need some?
  8. And if you tell the difference between music and noise, then there is no point in trying to explain it. I'm dismissing a genre because it's not musical or singing (it's angry people shouting and ranting) not singling out one artist because I don't like what they produce, if you can't see the irony of your argument, then this is pointless, you should be criticising others in this thread
  9. No, I don't like opera, but they can sing, and to music, even though I don't enjoy it (c) Rap is not singing, the closest might be described as chanting. I don't like all kinds of music and/or singing, but I know whether it is musical or not. I'm not trying to impose my 'standard' of music on anyone, just using a normal definition of music, as against noise
  10. Or a development of the Wickham trolley?
  11. Although they're not my favourite band, they've produced some good stuff. but importantly, everything that they've done has at least been music, compared to certain genres, which consist of people shouting or ranting over a repeated beat or noise, not music!
  12. Agreed, then they're almost as good looking as an Achilles class!
  13. I would suggest that they've been doing this for far longer than the last couple of years.
  14. Not going to disagree with that, but pretty it's not!
  15. I know we all have different definitions/translations of beauty, but I really think that belongs in the 'other' thread!
  16. He was, after all, an Anglican Bishop, not a Catholic, and it was the Pope that objected to condoms, etc.
  17. Fair enough, I didn't realise that they made more than locos, rolling stock, etc. but to be pedantic, I would class telegraph poles as infrastructure, not scenery!
  18. I didn't think that Rapido did scenic items!
  19. Confused? Swindon did do it, that's what the 2 pictures show!
  20. I've stopped watching those Railfan videos, firstly, because of the childish noises they add (their poor attempt at trying to make it funny), and secondly, it just confirms how stupid most american drivers are, most wouldn't pass a driving test in this country, or indeed many other developed countries!
  21. Another interesting twist in this murky tale, firstly, there are rumours that Netflix are making a film about this season (and it wouldn't be good for the plot if everything was 'by the book' would it?) secondly, Liberty Media are looking to buy Netflix, hmm, makes you wonder!
  22. My old school mate, and Best Man, lives in New Zealand now, and his wife described MV as a 'petulant child', leading up to the race, and she's Dutch!
  23. I might have something very similar, if you're looking to restore to original condition, or as close as possible. If not, you'll need to replace them all, for consistency.
