    ..took the train into Brussels today. Didn't stay long as there didn't seem to be anything to do! But I thoroughly enjoyed the ride on the ancient AM62 EMU though.

      Glad your enjoying it. I hated it but i spent 5 weeks there without my family that drove me crackers although Antwerp was ace

      I think if i had my family close by i would have enjoyed it. I didnt get to see much of the country apart from the industrial areas where i happened to be training.

    I've eaten some pretty bad kebabs in some really bad places but that one last night ranks as one of the worst! (from north Bristol) Yuck!

    Flying back to Manchester yesterday, I was upgraded again. :) That makes 8 upgrades this year, including 1 long haul and 1 to 1st class! My charm, at check in, has really been honed over the years of misery.

      I was lucky enough to get an upgrade on Emirates airlines from standard to First. Heaven... 1 metre of Leg room and a better range of drinks for free!

    Note to self: Allow more than 2 hours to get across Paris next time. I missed the 13:10 flight and now I have to wait until 18:25 to fly back to Manchester.
