  1. If I was local I would snap it up, but Lincolnshire - Cornwall is a fair drive. The buyer is going to be a very lucky person and I hope they have hours of enjoyment. Jack.
  2. 14 hour shift tomorrow, then long weekend of model railwaying and car tinkering, whoop!

  3. Now going to head office to make complaints about work. Hopefully this will all get sorted now and I can be stres free...!

  4. Catch some Z's after a night shift, then off to photograph the pathfinder 37 tour.

  5. Has found the love for model railway again... Lost it for a brief spell due to working too many hours. But now have a project on the go which I'm enjoying! Happy days.

  9. Hi bill, I may not have looked far enough back through the posts, but when is the hayle show? Jack.
  10. A quick kip, or modelling before the other half gets back...?

  11. Was going to go into the "model railway shed" tonight with great Intentions, but settled for 5 pints of beer instead, man, my head hurts...!

  12. Wow! That's impressive ! The 08's look especially authentic. Will watch this progress as a keen kernow clay lover! Jack.
  13. New members of staff at work, been running around for 14 hours like a box of frogs, wow! My legs ache. Oh well railway time tomorrow evening.

  14. This oozed atmosphere..! Really good looking layout and steady progress. Jack
  15. Amazing pictures..! Thanks for sharing them. In have 1 or 2 ideas for a diorama now Thanks, Jack.
  16. LIKE this alot. thanks Ramrig. Jack.
  17. Cuppa tea and chunky cookies...!

  18. Just read an artical about the development of the wharf, and apparently some of the rails that remain are being retained, i guess its a bit like Heartlands Centre style, keeping a small part of original history still intact. Jack.
  19. That would be great to see the images Ramrig Jack.
  20. Went down to Hayle Beach today (in the mist and rain) and noticed everytime i go there it changes, almost beyond recognition. Especially Clifton Terrice, where the old branch once ran. The developing site oozes atmosphere and would make an excellent layout / diorama in any scale of the quay and harbour scene. I'll add more pictures, when i pop there again get some decent picstures of the enterance and harbour office, and the path where the line ran ( on the petrol garage side and under the bridge. ) Jack.
  21. Class 57's have "spoon" horns... I think the 47's soul is trying to escape... I'll have a closer listen when it passes my Kitchen windown in an hour.

  22. The picture shown on the CRS website, one of the pictures is taken right outside the school, looking toword Tesco roundabout (courtasey of a well know site and map lol) Where i live there is a gap in the wall's close to Tesco, is where the sidings once ran past Frazers metals into the Holmans complex. Is hard to beleive that the Street was once part of a branchline...! Jack.
  23. Its strange to see the Roskear Branch... in a few of the pictures you can see my house, the line ran right next to my neighbours garden... and the Hayle Wharves aswel, the iron "swing" bridge still intact, the gravel road to Hayle beach...never knew it was once a freight branch.... Great site that shows some of Cornwall's forgotten history. Jack.
  24. And pictures of westerns and 50's at Falmouth...! Great find Jack.
  25. Class 47 crew gave Me a blast of the spoon spoooon! At Burngullow.
