  1. Ah, thinking about it... I've reinvented the wheel That'll be a Peco "finescale / not P4" medium radius point up there then, won't it. Bu99er! #Finescale
  2. Decided to go for the A5 shorty (9' switch thingy). Temperlott chopped up and spray mounted to a slab of MDF (it's not the pro way to go, I understand, but it's all I have in stock) with masking tape around the edges. Double-sided tape on top (this IS EM gauge tape... it must be, I got it from EMGS Stores, so there!). During all this diddling about I was supposed to be making onion gravy for dinner... turns out it's now caramelized onion gravy, so win, win! PS: Got me chopper out but that's for the morning, too tyred to be piddling about with me tiny strip tonight, even if it is shiny... .
  3. Probably not far off TBH but I can't wait* for the fair to middling radius versions to come out. *He says after dithering about building a 4 'long layout for 10 + years Edit:. Yes it bluddy is, see below. Ar$e! .
  4. Quackers is going down the chemist for his arsteroids, you should ask him to get you something for those whilst he's there?
  5. This threads gone all quiet. I thought we'd be discussing variants of the Tavern Cars by now... P. Lunch
  6. 9ft Switch version thingy... but will it fly? Edit: I love SRA3 but I'm assured a weekend by the coast normally sorts it...
  7. But it is Thursday and that means new toy day down the central aisles, does it not?
  8. I do remember a Circle event over a weekend where a whole cow was spit roasted over a fire, viewing this from the rather delightful Exmouth Junction built concrete footbridge. Seemed special to me at the time, not knowing that it was in fact just bog standard Radstock fast food.
  9. Good luck, not that you need it. Whereas I'm on the bus to work and my driver is a loon, a jolly loon but a loon all the same.
  10. Whatever it is, it's pulling a rake of Bulleids that Hornby don't make either
  11. This edition of BRM led a to discussion in certain bookshop about a signal box built by a contractor from Bath whose name escapes me... I can't remember if I made a purchase that day but I'm sure I may have received biscuits in any case. Absolutely stunning pictures by Andy of a brilliant creation. Can't wait for the next installment. Thank you for sharing Captain.
