I do remember a Circle event over a weekend where a whole cow was spit roasted over a fire, viewing this from the rather delightful Exmouth Junction built concrete footbridge. Seemed special to me at the time, not knowing that it was in fact just bog standard Radstock fast food.

This edition of BRM led a to discussion in certain bookshop about a signal box built by a contractor from Bath whose name escapes me... I can't remember if I made a purchase that day but I'm sure I may have received biscuits in any case. Absolutely stunning pictures by Andy of a brilliant creation. Can't wait for the next installment. Thank you for sharing Captain.

I got my Airfix (GMR maybe?) Prairie for £9:50 on sale in the Modellers Den in Bath (long gone now) when they first came out. I still have it... and it still needs a decent chassis! Edit: I lied, £8:20 and GMR.

Clive you are a very naughty boy! 5 does not go into 4.1/4 what ever it is. That was a very nice photo of a rusty frog though, you'd need a feeler gouge from British Leyland to measure the gap. I would say with my unqualified eyes that it might be a P4 or even a S Club Seven 4 scale gap. Did someone say Fiona Brucie or "Purple" ?
