  1. Jon, you're certainly the man with the info! Please allow us some time to digest the vast detail kindly provided. If it's ok we might contact you privately if there are other bits of detail which might be required. We have a few sizes of "standard" sheet so I'm sure we can come up with something which will hopefully suit most people. Just to set the correct expectation - as ever with these things, it's entirely likely that there won't be a perfect pack for everyone, but we'll certainly do what we can to cater for as many folk as possible. It may take us a short while to study what we think would suit, as we constantly have to juggle other demands in parallel. Watch this space... Thanks, Steve
  2. It's one option, and we're certainly open to feedback. Only thing we'd volunteer on this note is that if we can make easy one-piece application transfers with the detail already filled in, thereby minimising time/hassle for modellers, would that be preferred? At least the feedback we hear from customers via the web site and at shows is that folks generally don't want the hassle of cutting out and lining up numbers, though in some cases it may be unavoidable. We'll watch with interest how this thread develops, and it may well make sense to release 2, 3 or even more similar packs in parallel. Obviously we need to be sensible and make sure that the time and development invested doesn't make a pack so specific that it would only ever meet the requirements of one modeller, but instead strike that happy balance. Looking through Bartlett's images there are clearly multiple liveries (Railfreight, bauxite, Civil Link, etc) and naturally variations within those liveries. Perhaps a sensible question to ask is - would modellers tend to stick to one VIX livery? If we were to gradually release packs per livery, what we would want to avoid is forcing people down the route of having to buy multiple packs.
  3. Folks, we'd be happy to pursue this and add them to our range. So, at great risk of opening the flood gates, now is a good juncture at which to ask if there are specific markings / number ranges you'd like to see in the pack? Once we have a reasonable grasp of what people would find useful, getting this pack to market should be pretty straight-forward. Thanks, Steve Railtec Transfers
  4. Just to let the good folks here know that we're aware of this thread and consequently have made every effort to keep up with the demand. The item is back in stock, and in parallel we are looking to release an NCB pack shortly. Folks may also be interested to learn that we already have an internal user departmental pack available at the link below, which contains a variety of markings which may be carried by wagons in industrial use. As ever, if people have suggestions for future packs they may like to see, then we're always willing to listen. http://www.railtec-models.com/showitem.php?id=1065 Thanks, Steve Railtec Transfers
