  1. Ok safe to say now, got an unmade kit from Hattons, search from google, ddk found nothing. One bit of advice for web use, use multiple search engines.
  2. Or if looking for car spares, something else entirely. Or completely wrong vehicle. But i have had bargains, like an anti roll bar for 80 quid new
  3. I usually get so much junk i have to drop to locos
  4. Not appearing in searches for me. As below wrong category
  5. I will have to check pictures at Toddington as my only Horton road 169 is on tri-x. So that would be grey. May have been faded crimson. Will hunt for more pictures
  6. Just found round top from a web search to a soon closing shop
  7. Just found smething I need on their site, and was surprised to find it.
  8. Just found this, I come from that area. I will be following this. The usual PWM was 650, the first one, different to 651 to 654, I am building the JE kit in 00 651 was there in 80s in yellow, pretty sure I saw 654 there as well but not sure on colours. I do remember seeing UKF fertiliser wagons. Are you getting an A27 autocoach for the depot?
  9. Thanks, I wil take this route, but later in year, I want a couple of 0-4-4Ts done first. Taking ONE easy route, will be plain line, no station so they can just go past.
  10. I am also after a MR 1P 044T is Craftsman LK3 suitable for 58071?
  11. May have a go at a tender loco, for my BR blue era. 1985 colours VERY clean No outside valve gear Got half the train already Rode on footplate around Horton Road Can't find any available Castle kits. WIll I have to get RTR?
  12. Just put in an order with Precision. Thinners Wagon underframes Bus paint (PECO Leyland Nationals) Solder Will order other bus paint on bus 2
  13. I need to get some solder paste or paint, for two types of jobs, laminating, and detail adding, such as lamp irons and foot steps. Any recommendations please, just spent an hour cleaning my 0-4-4T
  14. Swindon IC underframes totally different to 120. Not studied 123 124 yet. Swindon DMU bogie is on 120 IC 124 126 123 is B4 family
  15. Until recently i did most car jobs, but since covid, one wash and polish, fluids, it does not have the decency to play up when warm and dry, so using specialists for awkward jobs like power steering pump and alternator. Model shop closures. Seen many come and go. At least 4 Gloucester, 1 Ross, at least 3 Worcester. Others i have come across were a biggish in Portsmouth, one near Kings Cross, one near Warwick. My favourite road in Worcester no longer has any reason to visit as the padty shop shut, AV shop shut, model shop shut, Halifax gon another entrance.
  16. I have helped work on one, what a nightmare, everything squished in one place. Small RWD hatch, definitely prefer the Rootes equivalent.
  17. A Chevette? If so their big mistake was no engine between the 1256 and the 2.3
  18. Back to DMUs The 119 is more like the 116 117 118 underframes. 120 appears unique.
  19. I wanted 1 or 2, so lrm tender, comet chassis, modified body with new chimney and converted to rhd. 1 will do. Will sell motor bogie tender some time.
  20. Quite a few differences between MR and LMS 2P. The ex Airfix model is OK as a body donor, but needs either a decent kit or a new model. As to DMUs I have been waiting well over 40 years for cross country which is why I made my own. Huge hole never filled.
  21. Well i would like a castle, but certain versions , preserved Clun and a 1960s br one also want a tatty br Jubilee. * Kit or rtr? I do have a rtr Leander but the motor is poor. Problem is the br one may be the same one.
  22. DOS app, we found one at a custome last year, I wrote it in the 90s. using the same database. Out of interest what DOS languages did you use?
  23. 5WES is basically a half a 4REP, the buffet is basically all the power gear from one 4REP DMS. It HAS to have loco like power, 4 axle drive, and buffet motorised.
