  1. What he said ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I get my kick up the ar#e from you lot on here Great videos, look forward to the next..... Jinty ;-)
  2. Yes, you have the same R/F class 20 as me, No 90, I'm after a blue one now. Nice depot 66, I was going to swap my Hornby one for the Bachmann one, but the tracks would've needed lifting So I thought I'd try and get the Hornby one up to scratch!!!! Scrapyard is looking good, not a thing that's modelled very often. Jinty ;-)
  3. Hi Peter, Here are a couple of grids I noticed off that site, not the best images, but I'm sure there is more. All pictures are copyright J.Powell. Website administrated by G. Poole 56069 with empty HAA's on 11th November 1982 56059 & 56069 stabled at 6G on 24th April 1984 with 47198. The 2 Grids went up the Conwy Valley line to conduct deflection tests on the bridge north of Betws-y-Coed. One that I really do like, a row of Duffs on 30th August 1986, 47's 100, 331, 349 and 353, and the full yellow ended Rat, 25912 Tamworth Castle. And a sad one to finish, 40001's last ever revenue earning run, on 5th July 1984 at Mochdre Hope you don't mind the hijack? Regards Jinty ;-)
  4. I've just stopped getting pi*$ed any more!!!!! The sentinel looks superb, proper industrial loco and a better looking livery than any of the Hornby offerings!!! Jinty ;-)
  5. The spinning head must be all cured now then? Excellent work on the junction, I quite fancy one of those boxes you and DT have got, they look great made up and finished. Jinty ;-)
  6. Hi Peter, I'm jealous!!!! lol You might find a few pictures on this site: http://www.6g.nwrail.org.uk/northwalescoaststeam.htm I'm sure I've seen a couple whilst I've been trawling through it. Although, you might already know of it. Jinty ;-)
  7. Just want to repeat what's been said prior, great looking layout, the dirt and snow transition is excellent. Following now Jinty ;-)

Hi Andy, Nice to see you're feeling well enough to contemplate a new layout. Just don't do too much too soon, the best thing though is to look forward and plan ahead. All the very best Jinty ;-)
  9. Strange, second day and no Kal or Jaz!!!!!! Hope the phone line hasn't given up the ghost again??? Hope everything is OK? and looking forward to the continuance of much mirth and painting. Jinty ;-)
  10. (Just wondering what that Warship is doing lurking there in the background?) NCB must of purchased it as a shunter........... Brilliant layout, and the modelling standards are superb. Now following Jinty ;-)
  11. Good videos there, nice variety too Jinty ;-)
  12. Thanks, I was walking over the H bridge that day and saw it after it had hit, I took a picture too, but God knows where that is now!!!! Jinty ;-)
  13. Hi Peter, That 40 is just spot on, I remember them roaring and whistling as they passed on the Irish Mail, as the main line was right near our house when I was a lad., I also remember one demolishing the footbridge at Rhyl whilst shunting as well!!!!!, well the footbridge upright, they had to erect a new one!!! I think the loco ran away!!! (not after it had hit the bridge of course!!) Jinty ;-)
  14. Since when was BR cost Effective???????? Jinty ;-)
  15. Yes, you would of thought so wouldn't you. I'm afraid I can't give the reason, as I don't know!!!!. I do know that many single door wagons ended up with the ED. I just thought I'd offer an alternate, from what had already been offered. Jinty ;-) PS: I too am waiting to see that Western
  16. Nice job on the wagon Jaz, I like the textures with the powders and liquid mix, really brings it out. How about an alternative, you could file off one of the doors and produce a later, single door 21t MDO http://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/mdo1doorrebuiltrenumber/h15933f60#h15933f60 They had no end doors either, but that would take some filing!!! Just a thought for variation. Jinty ;-)
  17. Failed 37427???????? She runs fine on Wrexbury!!!!!! lol I like the train spotters, again, lots of nice little details all over. Jinty ;-)
  18. I posted the answer on my thread as I was getting the link off there. That'll teach me to try and be clever a 11;30hrs!!!! lol I've got to take my 08 apart again for the weathering process, as soon as I've completed the 37 on the bench at the moment, I'll strip the 08 and send you a couple of pictures of the chassis modification. JInty ;-)
  19. Very nice 08 there, it'll look even better with a good old weathering . I fitted the Express Models lighting kit to mine, with a 4-function decoder. A pretty major operation as you have to cut a chunk out of the chassis at the front for the LED's. But quite manageable if you take your time. Jinty ;-)
  20. Colas 56 looks the part. Nice to play trains as well Jinty ;-)
  21. Great layout, lots of different areas, all exceptionally well done. The signal box is real quality, and at that price too!!! The only thing I will say, is that if that 57 is coming OUT of the wash plant, then you've run out of soap!!!!! Following now Jinty ;-)
  22. It's always a worry if things are going to work, but the main thing I've read from the above pictures, is that a six coupled loco and a bogie coach will negotiate the radii, which in itself opens up so many more possibilities from just a four coupled loco!!!!! If the Mogul traverses it, most other six coupled can be made to do so (well apart from large GWR 4-6-0's)!!! Good luck with this, it looks like you've got yourself a rather nice little railway room there, and plans afoot for a rather nice railway. Well done. Jinty ;-)
  23. Well after looking at my Lima one, Bauxite looks probably right, and like you say, I don't think I've ever seen a photo of a clean one yet!!! Get the dirt flowing Jinty ;-)
  24. That's turned out rather nice. Do I take it there will be lights and sound with it too?????? Jinty ;-)
