  1. Bloody hell, that 29 cab's lasted a good while!!!!! Great attention to detail as usual ;-) Jinty ;-)
  2. Same as above, good luck with everything Jinty ;-)
  3. Very nice picture the middle one, lots of atmosphere. Jinty ;-)
  4. You could make some for me if you like, I need some round my depot!!!!! They look great 66 Jinty ;-)
  5. Great work on the warehouse loading area. I like the simple but effective fueling point as well, it's just so simple, it's very realistic. Jinty ;-)
  6. Looks good, but that woman at post 4 is most certainly pissed worst for wear, I certainly wouldn't let her near that kid in the pushchair!!!!!! Jinty ;-)
  7. Looks like the humour 'SPIKED' right there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These canopies get better and better. What LED's did you use for them David? You probably have mentioned it in your thread, but I've missed it!!!!! Jinty ;-)
  8. I like the lights in the TMD, they look just about the right brightness. That tamper is a sweet looking kit, I bet it's a complicated thing to put together though!!!! Nice work on the layout, it's evolving with all these little bits added. Jinty ;-)
  9. Like the VGA, as for the transfers, I've only got 2 VGA's and that's all I'm having, but after I'd painted them from EWS ones, I purchased a set of Fox transfers for them. There are absolutely loads left, enough for a good few VGA vans. You're more than welcome to them, if you PM me, I'll stick them in the post. Jinty ;-)
  10. That Rocket card glue is excellent stuff!!!! And grips so quick!! The tunnel mouth is looking great, nice weathering and blending. But did you know that that 'Steemy' has frightened a poor Networker, It's jumped the rails in the tunnel!!!!! Jinty ;-)
  11. Hi, I've used Kadee No5's on the Airfix Mk2d's. A very easy fit, I think you'll find the description on page 8 of my layout thread that's in my signature below. Thanks for the picture Peter, I'm just awaiting the 'white line' transfers from Fox, and then I'll convert one. The down side is that the finish is not that good on the Airfix ones, so I might end up repainting all 5 of them!!!!!!! :-( Jinty ;-)
  12. Hi Peter, I've got to say, your layout is superb. The attention to detail is astounding. In particular, that last shot, my eyes were immediately drawn to the lovely lines of point rodding............... details like that just make the whole thing awesome!!!! Jinty ;-)
  13. Well, for what it's worth, I think the stations look spot on. The whole station area has a realistic atmosphere to it. Like the MLV's, especially the PO one Jinty ;-)
  14. Well you don't half shift on with things...... Wish I could move on at such a rate, I might get something done!!!! The layout's looking good, keep it up. Jinty ;-)
  15. Great layout, such a nice flowing feel to it as well, even though it's not the longest. I can see the start of so much detail going into it as well, following now (with interest!!) Jinty ;-)
  16. WOW!!!!!! Just seen your tube videos for the first time (I'm probably the only one!!!), and they are really good, informative and very well shot. Lovely layout, with different areas, all very well put together. Love the Mk3 'Tina with the odd wing, nice touch. Jinty ;-)
  17. What a great idea!!!! Don't set me off, I've got a 14' x 2' section of the garage I'm yet to fill, and I've had all sorts of thoughts about some compact layout with handbuilt track, etc!!!!!!! Will follow this and try to resist!!!! Jinty ;-)
  18. Yes me too, although I'm looking for a banger blue or a R/F Redstripe one as well. Jinty ;-)
  19. Hi Pete, The PCA's look great by the way, and P H Design does some rather nice replacement etches for both the Vee Tank and the Metalair. I'm sure he wouldn't mind me posting here, but if he does, I'll remove them. Jinty ;-)
  20. Yes that 47 is my baby at the moment, it started life as a Bachmann 47301 in R/F Red stripe, repainted and Biffo sound onbord.I must get a couple of Grids but 37's keep coming up!!!!!!!! Jinty :-)
  21. We're just slaves to the cause!!!!! Question: The high speed crossover you have modelled( as mentioned above), do they have a different operating mechanism (real railway) to the normal point motor system? Jinty ;-)
  22. That's cleared that up then, thanks Merf. I used to hear at least one every night in the week back then, so they must of had quite a bit to get rid of? Jinty ;-)
  23. Very nice indeed, the nearest to cement trains on the N Wales coast was 'Castle Cement' plant at Penyffordd. But I believe, although I will stand corrected, that there used to be a regular run of cement up to the Trawsfynned power station, to serve the plant when it was being de-commissioned!!!! I lived near the route of the Conwy valley line and I used to hear 31's trundelling up there with wagons in tow during the early hours!!!! Jinty ;-)
  24. Excellent work on the lights, this is going to be awesome to follow!!! I love the banger blue grid, great weathering;-) Jinty ;-)
