  1. This is a rather fine coffee and coconut stout, but at 9.7%, maybe a bit strong for the first of the day.
  2. Indeed, which is why I made the offer. The offer has been accepted, I'll report back......
  3. I made an offer of £85 for the Class 15......
  4. #confused I do not understand your rationale at all, nor the point you are trying to make. Maybe you can afford to buy a new one because you have sufficient disposable income so to do. You could make that point without denigrating those who do not have that luxury. That is the point I was making. To put it bluntly, suggesting that others might not buy a new one because they may be of the tight walleted persuasion (sic) is at best patronising and at worst downright insulting. Let's leave it at that.
  5. I won't be swapping, and it's not because I'm one of 'the tighter walleted types' - which incidently is perhaps a tad impolite?
  6. The listing also says: The oldest working steam train was built in 1855 Shows how much they know!
  7. https://www.ebay.co.uk/bfl/viewbids/284621088889?item=284621088889&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565 Looks like some shill bidding though.......
  8. I've got a gallon can of T-Cut, that should see it reet.
  9. I'm rather fond of that glass though, it holds a 330ml can exactly and came (legitimately) from here: https://www.brouwerijhetij.nl/enjoy-your-beer-in-a-healthy-and-safe-way/?lang=en
  10. Thanks. Didn't taste like it had any of those....... Which is odd, because I do have a distinct preference towards Citra, Simcoe and Chinook.
  11. Can I have someone the moss off the sides please?
  12. The final Asda special. Again, hops not specified and unremarkable as a beer This wax an expensive one @£1.15
  13. Brand new never ran. Well it wouldn't have would it? It doesn't have legs for one thing.
  14. In the same way as Beer is made of Beryllium and Erbium.....
  15. Another Asda 'bargain'...... Hops not specified, but the tastes suggests Citra, Simcoe and possibly Chinook. Perfectly acceptable, but not good enough to go buy any remaining stock.
  16. And by the look of it using a handheld mobile phone to film; (s)he's as bad as the rest of 'em.
  17. Today's tipple: Siren Broken Dream. One of a selection that were purchased from my local asda at a reduced to clear price. This is badged as a 6.5% Breakfast (?) Stout. Quite palatable, but I wouldn't want it for breakfast The Brixton APA I had yesterday was so nice I went back to the shop and bought the remaining stock; 16 cans @90p each - that'll do!
  18. Get well soon. I've recently come out if isolation, but I was advised I didn't need a PCR to confirm the positve LFT, just to isolate for 10 days with early release if LFT negative on days 5 and 6. Fortunately, that was the case. Hope the same for you. ps was drinking this earlier https://www.brixtonbrewery.com/portfolio/atlantic-apa/
  19. I gave that J50 some consideration too. :)
  20. Try arguing that when you're pulled for overloading or exceeding towing limits; my guess is that being beside the point won't give much credence to that defence.
  21. This is a bit better..... But it just tastes like lager with mango syrup. Ingredients don't mention the hop variety. It's also vegan friendly; not that that's of any concern to me
  22. Is this madness? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133994661393?hash=item1f32b44611:g:xjQAAOSwlYRh4bBG&autorefresh=true I certainly wouldn't have paid that much.
