A similar thing happened with the EFE Ribble Atlantean, about 1/2 of the production were lost at sea in a shipping container overboard IIRC. For a time they were zs rare as rocking horse poo and commanded prices which reflected that. Now, though still fetching prices better than others in the range, they're barely realising 20% of the high price.

In the resulting log jam, car drivers were canvassed on their opinions of the use and development of public transport. Almost all of the 'stuck' car drivers I canvassed thought that public transport was an absolutely brilliant idea....... .....for everybody else to use so that they could drive their cars with less hindrance. I don't get what the fuss is about. It's all about vehicle awareness, concentration and observation isn't it? All of which are prerequisites, or at least were when I took my driving test, to holding a licence to drive said vehicle. Periodic refresher tests anyone?

And a complete bag o'sh!te in some. Notably anything with a Nissan K9K diesel and a 5 speed box. Drive take up judder all the time when the engine is hot.... gives the impression that you don't know how to drive or you have a kn@ckered clutch. Neither being true in my case.

Thanks Chris, It's not that 'I' do not want to 'play anymore'; I'm just finding that, at the moment, ERs seems to be not helping my mood or demeanour and discretion being the better part etc., I'm generally abstaining for a while in case I say something I might regret later. This may sound odd, but as you rightly say ERs does offer lots of support to people, but I can't help but feel there are others more in need than I - so the easy answer is 'leave it for a while' until I can better 'cope' with the 'environment'
