    Still looking for employment, I have applied for a number of jobs and received about half a dozen refusals, I think it is very rude not letting the applicant that the application is not going further.

      My workplace only send letters to those who attend interview but are unsuccessful. I think this is a sensible compromise especially with the price of postage.

       

      Also some applications are clearly just to keep the Benefits happy.
