Sounds promising! I live about 15 minutes (getting across town is mayhem at the best of times!!) from Dallam and I am often in Warrington BQ. Looking forward to the progress and well worth a follow
NEVER buy Hornby saphire dcc chips. Mine caught fire on my alstom pendolino and I was running it in and saw smoke coming out of the side so I stopped it and quickly pinged the body of and jammed the chip off with a screwdriver. It was very melted! Took it back to Penketh Models, they replaced it on the spot! Great service
I'm very, very jealous of that 66.
Here is Terry's latest video!
I'd say dint weather them or only lightly as they seem to lower the value for some reason especially on the shanks
Hi Neil, the layout looks great! For some reason rmweb has Unfollowed me from this thread and your other one? And it's Unfollowed me from my own threads.... Bizzare
Oooooooh I spy with my class 60 spotting eye you have 60029!!! Why is it your entire fleet I want?
A man was doing a couple of miles an hour over the speed limit, however he had not noticed. The police car stabled at the side of the road whirled into life and started chasing him, 4 hours later they caught him in the pub car park. The police man said: What where you playing at, we where only stopping you to tell you to slow down a bit, he said. Oh! You see my wife ran off with a police man and I thought you where bringing her back!
There was a pour soul who wasn't feeling well, he asked for a home visit.
He said to the doctor,
doctor doctor I feel like a bridge?
The doctor replied, really?? Oh dear whats come over you
He replied, so far, 6 trucks, 24 cars and a bicycle!
Wow! This is a really good layout, the scenery is nothing short of spectacular! Especially those rock faces and beaches. Really very good and to me im not really interested in westerns but this does look brilliant!
Hi David, any chance of a release of any 00 versions of your lovely N gauge on track plant stuff, except the rail grinder as Pete s already doing that?
(edit: stupid iPad)
Very nice! You. Ale all this work look so easy! That PFA looks great and as a 57 nutter that model of 307 looks lovely, will it be ran on New Bryford at Blackburn?
Hmmm... Valid points there.
Would you ever do RTR models? Only I'm not a skilled model maker. And painting It would be a for me? You could sell the models as 4 coaches (drive, coach, pan coach, drive) like Hornby do? As I don't think there are many people who can afford £300 at once?
£300!!! Just for the bodyshells? How can it be that much?? Surely it can't cost that much... Why don't you send Dave a message and find out who he uses for his models to be cast? Could be cheaper?
Eeeeek! Is this a ready built model painted and motorised or just the bare essentials?Surely shape ways would do you a multi buy discount? Or at least some movement on price?
