    I seem to have gained a big interest in modern AC electrics! Let's hope the euro millions comes in for the family and I can buy and secure the future of 87002!

      Modern enough! By modern I mean the newer ones... the later ACs! So 86/87. Then the 90 and 92 came.

      86101 was the test bed 87, 87101 was the test bed 90.

    Very pleased, Xmas money is now mostly spent but I've purchased, 2 model stobart trucks, a detailed and weathered Hornby class 60 in EWS and a Bachmann FNW class 150! Very happy

    I really am starting to hate the old style Hornby class 08 shunter, I've spent the past half hour trying to work out how to get the chassis parted from its body.... Screws removed, still no luck? Grrrrrr

      push the 2 clips in at the cab end then pull away, sometimes stuck inside with sticky pads

    66104 has been reported as working 6J37 with 302 dead... Not really been a good few weeks for Colas with there excellent reliability. I'm at Crewe tomorrow so hopefuly I'll see you there.
