If you’d asked me yesterday what my favourite Christmas film was, I’d have said it was either Alistair Sim’s Scrooge (1951) or It’s a Wonderful Life.
Last night, I watched Klaus with my eldest daughter.
Now, it’s a three way tie.

Fed up with Christmas, last year was the best ever, because it was cancelled.

HALF A POUND OF SAUSAGES.

I feel a need to sell some stock, I hope it's the right decision, time will tell I guess.

The Bachmann Double Fairlie - was there ever a greater distance between 'need' and 'want?'

A local preserved railway had a Peppa Pig day, complete with Hog Roast.

Steam coming out of cooling towers? Is Ratcliffe about to generate?

If people keep positing the 'wrong thing' in the Status Update area then maybe there is something a little wrong with the set up between using the PM facility (confidential) and Status (open to public)? Once or twice maybe accidents. Several times a month is showing some sort of confusion as to the way to do things 'privately' ? I ma not clever enough to understand Tech stuff but I can see a glitch.

More space for model railways!!
Some tidying and reorganising of my office come railway room has released space for either a full loop in N or a second railway in OO.

Meeting the prospective son number one's in laws. Took several Gin & Tonics to prepare. Made it through and now back home, knackered and extremely full from all the food at the restaurant. But came through unscathed and no faux pas.

Why aren't there more people called Millicent in government?

What kind of idiot volunteers to decorate the main bedroom when his wife is going away for the weekend?
Don't need any responses, I can see him in the mirror right now.
Knackered !

Managed to pick up some Humbrol Matt Acrylic varnish at Expressway Models at Buckfastleigh station this afternoon, but the adjacent cafe was a nightmarish scene of maskless people mingling closely and eating cake.

Einstein's big bang theory is in question now that we know that time doesn't exist and it's just in our heads.
So is there any rush with getting the layout finished or not....

I saw something nasty in the wood shed.

Radio 3 is perfectly capable of playing some decent, proper classical music but why do they have to deviate so often into the realms of psuedo-arty intellectual guff? Each time I turn over from Classic FM, in despair at the inane, repetitive adverts, I find some pontificating person spouting some clap-trap or the strident and discordant tones of modern so-called 'music' (or else it's jazz - aaargh!).
