Can not cost more than Bachmann then, i am sure they can make them
at a competitive price i dont mind paying if its a model i want and
made properly, just think they should do a range to compliment
there other detailed models.
Wont be purchasing the Bachmann as its the air brake version,
that only leaves the Parkside / Peco kit, i dont see why Hornby
dont make super detail wagons like there coaches and locos
hence the re tooling of there old models.
How much smaller is the body of this ex Mainline tooling compared to the
Airfix / Dapol model any pictures showing them togeather please for comparison.
Looking for the same slow start and crawl to slow running, to replace my
Gaugemaster DF due to motor noise from the feedback, is there a controller
that gives less noise, how good is the Morley.
It is nothing to do with running capabilities but the noise from the X4026
using feedback controllers not a problem with 3 pole ones,
is there a 3 pole with the same dimensions does not have to
have a flywheel as my controllers are supperb at slow running
why i dont want to change them.
My recently deceased freinds uncle was Tommy Bray he was from Doncaster,
unfortunatly now cannot discuss this further, wish now i had found out
more about him.
Did these later classed as TEA railtanks ever venture to the nortwest
like there other wagon fleets, only seen the Shell / BP 100t workings in
this area circa 67 / 68 in fact not found any pictures of Esso boggie
tanks from this period.
Just came across this post did the Esso 100t tea tanks ever reach the northwest,
i know the smaller tanks did, cannot find any photos of these pre tops
in the late 60s i know they were introduced from 67 only seen the
shell / bp in this area at the same time.
