  1. Having made a hash of my last submission, and thanks to those who corrected. I offer 2 sides of a coach at Boat of Garten probably early 80’s. More confident this is WCJS 245 built by LNWR & currently at Bo’ness. As aside the coach next to it on LNER bogies escaped my attention. PS stand to be enlightened😂
  2. Couple of random. LNER 6w Thompson Full Brake Butterley ?? When Hull Dairycoates, grab shot off Clive Sullivan Way 2/90 Pilkington Coaches & ?? Ex NER
  3. About 1/2 hour later, ticking over in Platform 3 Grimsby Town. Scheduled departure 11:40 shortly after a TPE service
  4. First outing to Grimsby for the 2023 leaf busting season. Other 66’s about on Iron Ore & Drax Biomass
  5. Toddled out to Brocklesby to catch 3Q35 working from Barnetby to Doncaster West Yard via Cleethorpes. Already 5 minutes early by time reached me. Didn’t get going away shot so appreciate 37 identification please.
  6. That probably relates to the Scottish D11 Directors which were on NBR line which wasn't as generous as others regarding loading gauge. Seem to recall the A1's at that time needed pruning height wise to go north of Edinburgh too?
  7. Sorry but concentrated on 91’s with a cheeky little break on way home from 2/7 meeting. Nice to see something more colourful than usual suspects at Brocklesby. Colourful one on a Stobart working & other empty Plasmor blocks
  8. 2 day course in Manchester so stopped for hour en-route home to Grimsby. Rather fortuitous timing as two spotted Just noticed appears to have taken out a pigeon as what is left is plastered over left hand buffer
  9. Hung around quite a while in that state. The LNER bogies were swapped out, finally grounded without Commonwealth. E5264E or ADE 320703 if Departmentals website to believed.
  10. That will be at Boat of Garten in early preservation days of Strathspey Railway I posted image of same coach in teak from 1978 earlier in this thread so suspect above pre-dates this. Possibly soon after withdrawal from BR & pretty sure was unique in blue and grey. Think was volunteer accommodation for a while?? Currently at Bo’ness SRPS and looking much better with a bit of TLC & a paint job.
  11. Indeed Clan Cameron with special headboard got to Fort William for Clan gathering Think footplate staff were Cameron too?? May have gone twice once to make sure fitted. Said to be only pacific ever on WHR.
  12. Slightly more up to date image of the Perth duo They have survived (more or less) & one is at GCR as I recall 096056 and 096055 from 9/1/92
  13. In short yes, though slightly different timeframe. The rather super NBR Burntisland layout included the Bouch train ferries. Think images on You Tube
  14. One of the 12 wheeler (LMS 380 Sleeper 1st) is heavily modified & static on disconnected rails in a campsite next to Lincolnshire Wolds Ludborough. No easy access to photograph now. I recall a rumour that was run up and down line on arrival to ensure no lumps or dust of an unpleasant nature occurred following earlier removal of asbestos.
  15. Sorry to say Morningside, Royal High School, Merchiston & finally Edinburgh University for me. Saw the light, left & have lived rural Lincolnshire for last 30+ years. Not been to Harburn Hobbies for years (even recall the original shop at bottom of Walk) & last remember had the nameplate for Meld above the counter. Occasional trips North bring back memories though such a changed city.
  16. Nice comment Roddy, guessing tongue in cheek too; the boundary is technically part of the way up the Walk so video incorrect If I recall my history Boundary Bar had mark on floor & due to different licensing laws everyone decamped the the Leith part of the bar to continue to imbibe. Used even to be different pavement width too. Just touches on “Pilrig Muddle” due to independence of Edinburgh/Leith
  17. A rather gloomy & murky visit to Immingham Depot 1/91 37:251 & 47:402 31:309 & 47:417 different angle to first image 47:402 is only I/D
  18. Couple random images Brocklesby 9/2/90 47:118 (Lapwing) Can anyone explain rationale & name choice from, think it was Tinsley Depot?? Barnetby 12/12/90 37:098, 31:199 & 47:033
  19. Couple of extras due to file size. Need to work on in-bound images Last outbound is interesting (to me) as never seen rake for ??scrap loading
  20. Back to usual haunt at Brocklesby my records say all 5/6/91 but impossible looking at tree/vegetation differences 56:086 interestingly 2 modified hoppers at front of large (even by local standards) consist. 47:237 37:110 47:308 (looks like ex Norsk Hydro working)
