  1. Just noticed creeping into edge of original LNER sleeper image is the NBR non corridor toilet 3rd currently & taken on guided tour more recently
  2. Return to Brocklesby, 2 at station & 2 from an adjacent dirt track 21/12 89 37:275 (Stainless Steel Pioneer) & 37:381 on Ore working 101 DMU 22/11/90 20:046 & 20:095 Light Engine 37:003 (Tiger Moth)
  3. Some historic images from my usual haunts Ulceby Junction 7/9/89 with 47:108
  4. Don’t think have added these before. Unidentified 66 on Tioxide working & think it was red wagons in block formation full of gypsum?? Other two are Track Recording Vehicle Barnetby 7/90 & 08:665 at Woad Lane Crossing (only second time ever saw locomotive here)
  5. I well recall the Gresley Sleeper at Boat of Garten & have some pictures somewhere Now moved to Bo’ness SRPS and seriously nice restoration. The full brake (??Buckfastleigh) I believe became part of a 3 way swap & partially preserved as consequence
  6. One passenger working sneaked in, shows all the work done from infrastructure point
  7. Had an hour spare this AM & headed to my usual haunt but very very slim pickings even allowing for it being a strike day.
  8. Further on down the line, never seen so many orange hi-vis from different operators
  9. This tipped up today, 30 odd years late. Lots of interest too. Currently in Cleethorpes & waiting to catch return working to Lincoln
  10. Less than common visitor to Grimsby seen today. Timetable suggests 2 or even 3 out/back runs from Frodingham Junction
  11. Like button isn’t enough IMHO Just needs the matching coaches. In awe.
  12. Think the Iron Ore quality point is fair. In earlier days (double 37's) arrived in 1/2 full wagons as gob stopper sized pellets
  13. Fascinating little known line in Edinburgh 4w coaches & specific 0-4-4 locomotives to boot. Served paper & snuff mills along Colinton Dell. Recall Colinton Tunnel well as a well known part x-country run route from my old school (Merchiston Castle) now a walk and challenge to thread a line through the Dell Only bogie coaches aware of used on line were at the 11th hour. Seen pictures at Colinton station of ex LNER inspection saloon & another of preserved CR coaches on special.
  14. More than a few images of this working in/out of Grimsby either a) my on thread on this website or b) message me. Usually brought a couple of 20's to Grimsby in there twilight. Also seen/photographed 37 and 56 on the working. Seem to recall it was stainless steel billet to Grimsby Dock & rolled coil back
  15. Duplicate entry to Class 68 15:24 ex Cleethorpes 68025 Superb pushing
  16. Finally caught one locally & appears on a revenue service. Today 15:30 ish West Marsh Junction on edge of Grimsby. For the record 68025 providing the oomph
  17. Big day here as first day CT scanning for Lung Health Check. As Dr have been wanting this locally for nearly 5 years. Scanner in Immingham so toddled over via Brocklesby. Pretty much usual stuff though one new livery (to me anyway)
  18. Suspect you may be aware the St Andrews Railway book by A Hadjducki would be useful? Pretty sure one of the diesels ended up at Kingdom of Fire Railway Preservation at Kirkland Yard
  19. File size again, looks like empty iron ore working. Hopefully not consigned to history with all the recent issues at Scunthorpe Steel works
