  1. Oh, and Aero! I have one in N. Real proud of it, though I only managed 'G W' on the solebars. Neat wagons.
  2. Could ostensibly be built without the pivot. Basic principle behind certain 'catalogue' tram types.
  3. I was looking at the Hornby website on these. Hornby's own description lists a 'normal' configuration that Hornby doesn't support. Unless I missed the Third Opens somehow?
  4. "Flying Bufferbeam" made last year, I think? Shame not to see it this year.
  5. I very honestly think many of these aren't too quirky anymore. The Sentinels and Neilson all have a strong chance at market share. Industrials are 'in' lately.
  6. Have to appreciate how stalwartly isolationist the GWR looks to be on that graph.
  7. I did wonder, and I did look. I admittedly found myself more fascinated by the OHLE. I know they were real. but a lot of the earlier LB&SCR locos look like they should be imaginary.
  8. Works well for the American market. Though, IRL, the American railway market was vastly different from the UK market.
  9. I missed the note about G in the subsequent column. Just saw scrap date of 1923.
  10. Thanks for the advice. Sadly, according to this link, looks like it wouldn't be Brighton.
  11. What brake vans were suitable for wartime service? I'd imagine 'Boosters' would see Queen Marys a lot.
  12. Will there be a factory DCC/Sound option? KMRC didn't seem to have one listed.
  13. Have you investigated, I believe, Loksound doing a chipset with integrated stay alive? I believe I saw it mentioned in relation to the forthcoming Rapido Port of Par Bagnalls.
  14. Could always mount your L on a horsecart.
  15. Even if they don't, it seems most VoR stock is available as plastic kits. Should be a bit more palatable.
  16. Sorry to hear you cutting back. Will you be mentioning here if or when you decide to let things go?
  17. Fitted for train weight, I suppose. Not necessarily speed. That's my argument, at least.
  18. The real drummers became fictional after large shows.
  19. I'll keep that link. Maybe when I catch up on some of my other projects I'll import something.
  20. Things are looking better here. I may be on for a preorder, if I can run it through a retailer. May be time to see if my first-run LMS Garratt will tolerate DCC and sound after 10 years of abuse...
  21. Looks like the eccentrics are doing eccentric things. Separately, too.
  22. Looks a shade out-of-gauge. Might be 7'1/4"?
