  1. She has had 30mins running in, then I thought I'd fit a decoder.. Well, that isn't going in there is it!
  2. Did you say 0 gauge Pannier? Very interested to see that. I've always said I'd never try 0 gauge, but that Pannier looks nice and then I started looking at the GWR parkside kits.. It's a slippery slope.
  3. I've just seen the thread for the new Dapol announcement of the Mogul, very excited! https://www.Dapol.co.uk/Proud%20to-announce-the-launch-of-the-all-new-OO-Gauge-GWR-Mogul-2-6-0-Locomotive My Bachman one has always given grief and I'd be more than happy to buy a new one! That said. Just opened a Hattons 48xx (PS, It's my Birthday). Then had to hide it so the kids can't find it, maybe get 30mins to at least run it in later. And I've both the Dean Goods and the New Collet on pre-order. So it's going to be a busy time at Castle Down.
  4. I'm with most here, improving the delivery and searching would be better. It still bugs me that the extra pictures are of a lower quality than the main magazine. Why not just put all the photos full screen in the magazine? I've got four something years of issues, so if I want to re-read I can.
  5. Great job. Little straw, a few chickens and you'd think it was real.
  6. I've done battle with Photobucket! Yike, that site is now a mess!! I'll link the pictures in good time, but here they are now safe in google. https://photos.app.goo.gl/12amT91xJnsG99Le2
  7. I could.. I'd need to download and re-upload.. Leave it with me, I'll sort it out.. (Just not quickly, sorry, on holiday right now)
  8. Still waiting for glasses.. I guess the BRM office is quite busy!! Finally watched the video. I have to say I really enjoyed the section at the end with Phil looking at control panels, not quite sure if the mic they gave him was part of a joke though? Really good to get behind and see what is what, more please! Maybe fiddle yards next? Operating practise? More panels? We spend a lot of time looking at how amazing these layouts look and some have some really much more interesting things to understand going on behind the scene.
  9. Hi all.. Is there a nice resource of 48xx numbers and home sheds from introduction in 1932? I want to renumber one and would like a number from Reading, or somewhere close. Thanks

    New Hornby 14xx

I had a Dapol one, I did some nice upgrades to it. Then removed the centre wheels and replaced them with solid ones without the traction tyres. It runs rubbish! I must put them back and just sell it! I was hoping this new Hornby one would give me a replacement chassis. But I think I'll just put the Hattons one on my Christmas list!
  11. I've pre-ordered one. My mainline one is showing it's age and I'm not sure I can be bothered to convert it to dcc.
  12. Ordered my glasses. I'm looking forward to this one! DB models got a small mention in the intro, but a quick Google only really revealed their eBay shop. So where is this new model shop?
  13. That's looking really smart. The textured paint really lifts it. I normally but down a layer of filler, then paint that, but that's a lot more effort than textured paint.
  14. No digital here either. Also, do I need to make my own 3d glasses?
  15. Cough.. Yes, you may have The signal box is now also looking a little smarter with some fire buckets on the front. I'm going through a few odd jobs and the piles on my bench were getting too much!
  16. Agreed, good to see some action. Reminds me, wasn't I building something?
  17. I like the Dapol rail car. Is 11 more in keeping then 8? I've not been to Warley for years and years. But I'd agree if you can only manage 2hs then it's a lot of time effort and money!
  18. That's a new one I've not found on YouTube. thanks.
  19. I like the C! I'd like to build one if I had the time.. Where is the F kit from?
