  1. Who needs boobies when your team has just unseated some Manc team. Woohoo!
  2. Did you hear anyone saying "hold it you sl*g you're f*****g nicked"? Or have I been watching too much tv?
  3. Wow! You have damned good eyesight.
  4. Did you mention releasing too much shampoo into the system kills fluffy wuffy likkle kitten wittens, seahorses and unicorns? This usually helps to reduce use.
  5. Wat? He knew nothing about pheasants.
  6. Personally I think a couple of rivets are missing.
  7. A friend put any remaing boiled water into a thermos for the next kettle. Bit extreme I thought.
  8. Would Wouldn't the French be more likely to say "ah putain!" or "encule"?
  9. ChrisF, the model shop is marginally closer to Central but isn't too far from either station. The ironbridge in another country would cross a tempestuous swollen river but in Exeter it crosses ..... well .... hardly anything apart from a valley ..... it is just surrounded by buildings. George's Meeting House is a Wetherspoons more central in Exeter but it isn't the most inspired conversion of a church that I have seen. The White Hart, an old coaching inn, in the same street is much nicer. Just 10 mins walk away the old quays provide some good places to eat, drink and have pleasant scenery.
  10. I found an old labelled & still corked bottle today in my late Fathers collection of "useful one day things." I have Googled it and apart from the company name showing a connection to Bakelite in one Google whack, I can find nothing else. If anybody has any idea for what purpose J W Sharplin Ltd, London, N8 produced their Sharplinx (trade mark) "EDGEFIN" (ink and heel ball combined) please let me know. I can only guess it is a shoe makers product.
  11. Overcast day in sunny Teignmouth today. Hoping for sun later. I did a few jobs yesterday including fixing up a new exterior light with sensor and hacking down next doors ivy & brambles to stop it invading my garden. Just need to tidy up the dining table that currently houses my genealogical research files etc. Teignmouth council brought forward by a month the dog ban on the main town beach. Dogs can only be walked for the summer on the eastern beach ie alongside the seawall. Dog walkers are up in arms as there are nil sun bathing beach users at the moment. However in a cunning twist, the sand has left the main beach and it is just stones and boulders. The council are now debating what to do about these stones and boulders. Meanwhile the eastern beach is full of lovely recently deposited sand. No dog walkers will turn an ankle on it.
  12. 'ere, not a single post for nigh on several days. Whats ganning on? We cannae have this. Get some words down here Taffy bhoyo, don't leave it to us Western men.
  13. The Imperial is only about a 10-15 min walk from the town and Central station, its 5 mins from St Davids and its on the bus routes. Plus factor, if you walk via the ironbridge to town you can visit the model shop.
  14. Has Gabe checked his email/message box for a Bob message?
  15. "I'm Bob and so is my wife." "No, not really I'm just a very naughty boy."
