PK, I accept this is probably just me but: I get annoyed when Rails list a load of stuff I have to scroll through because it doesn't interest me. I get even more annoyed when Jadlam list a load which interests me even less. Today they've both done it at the same time. GRRRRR!!

Ebay madness of a different sort: I recently listed two Farish Prarie tanks, one, working, at £40, the other, a non-runner, for £10. The working one didn't sell, the non-runner sold, for £32; only £8 less than the working one???

Looking for possible sources for a loco to tender link for this early Poole Farish Hall Class No 1405. It looks like it originally had a plastic link which pushed into a hole in the tender and somehow connected to the metal link on the loco, but the plastic has snapped off. Was going to try to cobble something together, but before I waste my time, wondered if there is something off the shelf somewhere. Thanks in advance.

I remember my dad telling me how he bought a (hand) drill, (the ones with the gear wheel on the side that you caught you hand in if you weren't careful). in Woolworths (remember them) At that time Woolworths were known as the 3d & 6d store, everything was threepence or sixpence. (similar to today's pound shops). Because the drill cost a shilling, it was sold in two parts. He bought one part on one visit, then when he'd saved up, went back and bought the other part
