No US steam loco`s are just so ugly / naff looking.

The sad thing is the US steam locos that Athearn produce are uglly looking naff things not a patch on class of Gresleys, Peppercorns , Staniers 4 6 2s.

I think that Bachmann are keeping their powder dry ready to pounce should the banck pull the plug on Hornby as they could ant time they want. Bachmann Hornby TRAINS PLC.

I think i have alreaady posted this but i swapted the motor for the one Mike recormended.Due to the fact the origianal would not pull the skin off a rice pudding.

Why is Hornby Mallard in LNER blue always modelled without corridor tender and the Hornby Mallard in British Railways green is modelled with corridor tender. I thought it should have been modelled with corridor tender always as it ran in the LNER days.

From what i havw seen from Youtube clips these A4s look great not sure about smoke though, What type of motor have Daplo fitted in these A4s 3 or 5 screw with the boddy being dicast metal.
