  1. Your photos more than make up for any failure in your typing. This thread is always my first stop in RMweb.
  2. Happyland Trailer Park - Catie Offerman
  3. Wheels of Laredo - Tanya Tucker Wheels of Laredo - Brandi Carlile
  4. Running out of Road - Lauren Jenkins
  5. Waste of good whiskey - Lainey Wilson
  6. I thought the deviation was on the Ffestiniog Railway and I haven't heard of Hornby do TT:120 Narrow gauge!
  7. This is a better thread for jokes than the forum jokes thread and it has lots of superb modelling that inspires us all.
  8. I contacted Hornby regarding all the emails about OO following my joining the TT:120 club. I was told that members of the Collectors Club and TT:120 Club both get all OO and TT messages as they do not have a way of splitting them. I pointed out that they were able to split messages about all their other ranges but I was told that it was not worth doing it as OO and TT were both railway systems. I will be unsubscribing from their emails until they think TT is worth taking seriously.
  9. Are you Dr Watson? As Holmes said "it is elementary my dear Watson!"
  10. Currently it is thirteen years and counting. Standard of posts has varied over the years but I hope we are all still smiling.
  11. Are you certain about that? It says it is a jokes thread in the heading but the evidence shows otherwise.
  12. I have always thought that only twits tweet but this just proves there are more twits in Twitter than I thought.
  13. New specs never work correctly for me either. I think it is the shock of the bill that has a bad effect! As always I am enjoying all your excellent photos. Many thanks for all the hard work you put into keeping us enthralled.
  14. Premium member, I seem to be missing some threads but we know that @AY Mod is on the case and in the xxx years I have been here he has never let us down. It will all be okay soon enough and we could all do some modelling in the meantime.
  15. The tap in to avoid being charged the zone one fare if you are going to go around rather than through zone one is a common thing. The readers are pink instead of the usual yellow at gatelines. West Brompton has pink readers for those changing between Underground and Overground. It tells the system the route you are using. Needless to say some try to use the system to get the cheaper fare while still using zone one which keeps revenue inspectors busy.
  16. The C2C, Underground and Overground all use the same gates at Barking. At Upminster it is one gateline for C2C and Underground. At both stations you do not go through a gateline when changing between services. At West Ham you can change trains without using a gateline and there is only one that all passengers use whichever service they have arrived on.
  17. Having joined the TT:120 club I am now getting regular emails from Hornby. Trouble is they all are adverts for OO sets and stock. Not a single message about TT:120. If I was interested in the OO Collectors Club I would not have joined the TT:120 club. The unsubscribe link will be used if they don't remember very quickly why they have my email address.
  18. That reminds me, I haven't had a pack of Penguins for some time. A little shopping trip is required!
  19. Wrong! Drive the mini to your local railway station and use the train for the rest of the journey! Spoils the joke but improves the journey.
  20. Now we know the meaning of the TT:FN on the Haljan message when they cancelled their involvement in TT. TT February Next. Heljan must have already known about the delay in Hornby's plans!
  21. Be careful about journeys beyond any boundary station. In many cases you can get Advance tickets from the London terminal to the longer distance stations that are cheaper than tickets from the boundary station.
  22. You can only use TfL Elizabeth Line services to Reading as the Freedom Pass is only valid outside zones 1 to 6 on TfL services. I will check the map that TfL has on their website but I am certain I am right. If I have got it wrong I will post on here and at the same time edit my comments so noone is misled if I am wrong.
