  1. Done that, so now waiting for a reply........I can see the deposit drifting away at the moment....................moral of this story never get your email hacked, it has been an emotional roller coaster to say the least. I'm hoping I get a reply but I wouldn't be at all surprised if I lost the order, they are very clever people
  2. My Dad did always ask on a Sunday for me.......we were never refused
  3. I would, but I have tried every password I can think of and I can't get in, it hasn't been for the want of trying.......lol I'm perfectly happy to wait and I'm not in any way, shape or form being critical I just don't want to be forgotten especially as, as you point out they currently have no way of contacting me. I can assure you having an email account hacked by some teenager in Russia is not a pleasurable experience and it takes a fair bit of work to get everything sorted. I think this is my last outstanding issue now.......lol
  4. Having read that I didn't really want to mail them but having changed my email address since ordering I've got no way of knowing what I owe and they have no way of contacting me, waiting with my fingers crossed for them to contact me and hope that they don't think I have fallen off the face of the earth Those wagons look too nice :sungum:
  5. This is going to be fun, can't wait to see this evolve Quite ironic really as I have to say I was mightly impressed with Loch Tat in N gauge that I saw recently in Crewe and that got me thinking..............
  6. Awesome bud, plenty of the second to be going at now The real 007 would be good..........
  7. Gutted, saw your post and thought it must be Thursday..........cool pic though regardless
  8. Cheers Marcus What's the best glue for it? Also what glue do you then use to bond the plasticard to the foamboard? Not that any of that will really help me as the next bit of scratch building I have to do is a covered conveyorbelt with steel supports.....................how did you make that pipe bridge again!!!!!!!
  9. Hi Marcus, you mentioned cladding the building in plasticard, what did you use as the structure? It looks fab though
  10. As always Mike it looks awesome, I can't wait to see it one day. The scenery is just superb. An aside question do you ever have problems with your Hornby 153, mine shorts like hell on just about every point frog and with just about all of my other stuff being OK.......it'll be going in the bin soon unless I can sort it......lol!!!!!!!!
  11. It is nice to see on these versions that they don't feature Hornby's latest up-grade. The one where when you take the bodyside off all the louvers fall out!!!!!!!! I realise they are meant to move but I thought it was a rotation applied to all in a fixed position and not a translation onto the carpet Excellent work as usual bud
  12. Have a great show Trev......I have my daughter this weekend so sadly I can't make it but I hope you have a great time
  13. I'll say Hello at Warley especially if you have those 50's to entertain me, sadly you missed a blast at the SVR, I won't rub it in but it was awesome........lol!!!!!!!
  14. It was a truly awesome event. Words cannot thank the organisers and volunteers enough for making it THE highlight of my railway year
  15. I wish I knew what you guys were really talking about............and I do say that tongue in cheek..................and admire it really :mosking: Just don't got looking at my layout for any technical correctness!!!!!!!
  16. So a little bit done over the last couple of months. I got the signs from Sankey Senics which I'm really pleased with and made a start of adding them to the layout. Obviously they are far more suited to my class 50 era.........and with the SVR 50 Gala coming up I can see retro making a come back on the layout in the not too distant future Moving on though I've had a go at making some buddleia, comments welcome!!!!! And have got down quite a good base coat of static grass. What I'm not sure now is how to create brambles, stinging nettles and other small embankment bushes, Everything is too neat so please any advice is welcome. Cheers for popping by.........................
  17. Hi Dan It was a limited edition print done in the 1980's, I'll have a look later as I seem to recall there was a logo amongst the text at the bottom.
  18. It was the thread title that go me drawn towards this and I don't think I'm really adding too much to the topic..........However, I bought a DCC Concepts Zen decoder to hard wire into a 2nd hand Bachmann EWS class 08 that I had managed to get hold of. Wiring no problem, including the stay alive at all. BUT when I started to run it, I got slow, slow, slow, quick burst of speed, slow, slow, slow. I then had a 2 week holiday, came back and it then ran perfectly. I bought the same decoder and fitted it to my recent class 50, 50010, that too initially did the same thing.....one week later and it seems to be running perfectly. If anyone can explain that great...........if anyone has similar problems try perseverance and hope it works like it seems to have done for me
  19. It's ace isn't it................what a marketing genius!!!!!
  20. PM me and I'll send you some. Are you going to The SVR gala next week? Bless them they even got Glorious on a test run today so it's looking really good. Are you going Marcus?
  21. Thanks for the toot I got some pics of you approaching Newcastle Road crossing later on in Nantwich as well. Your start up was awesome from the signal check. I've posted a couple of pics in the 50 thread, if you want some Hi-Res pics I'll be happy to send them to you
  22. Well they seemed fine and dandy when I saw them But I'm no expert......... The first pic is 0Z43 1225 Kidderminster S.V.R. - Crewe approaching Basford Hall Junction just to the south of Crewe Followed by 1Z44 1500 Crewe to London Paddington rolling towards the Newcastle Road crossing in Nantwich. It had just been signal checked and they sounded awesome as they let rip to go through the town. Thanks to all of the guys that work tirelessly keeping these fine machines running so I can just pop out on a Sunday to photograph them.......although I guess I would have been happier on it
