      look for one from a train family... they will either walk or accept it...mine her father and brother worked on the trains.. father was into the hobby. I think she realised when the trains moved into the house before anything else! 8-)

    going to have busy year next school year : Ten tors, DofE, F1 in schools, Saxophone, Sponsored cycle rides and, most importantly, continuation of my GCSE's. Not much time for railway modelling I'm afraid.

    going to Falmouth for a week, but there is almost nothing to do with railways there. Or any mountain biking tracks. Sigh.

      The Bissoe trail is not bad for some off-road biking. You could even get a train from Falmouth to Perranwell.
