  1. Most colour schemes have been produced by Heljan or Bachmann, Green, Blue, RfD, other Triple Grey Rf liveries, XP64, Blue with RfD logo, Large logo, NSE, Intercity (Swallow and executive), Advenza, Cotswold Rail, Colas, Freightliner, Royal Train livery, EWS, even Green with yellow ends with plated Headvode panels like a mainline registered loco in an old colour scheme. There my BR more that I've missed, bit that should start us off nicely. Cheers, IC125
  2. I have a picture on my phone of 2 ScotRail 47s on shed at Bristol Bath road depot. Any ideas why 2 were on shed down South. There was an Intercity Swallow 47 behind them. EDIT: Here is the link http://bristol-rail.co.uk/w/images/b/ba/47492-1.jpg
  3. You could spend days working out differences on class 47s! Really good work here, I have seen many of your videos, but there are so many I haven't watched them all yet. One day...
  4. Could someone post some detail shots of the exhaust area as I'm not sure what to do with it on mine. Does it go straight down or at an angle? Cheers.
  5. I'm liking the one on the left, what livery is it in? I also like the Mainline one
  6. Really great work, particularly on the RM95. Also liking the parcels unit, are the windows flush on the model? (they look sort of raised to me) as they are flush on the prototype.
  7. Amazing amazing amazing! Do you think you could pose a train or two on the layout (even though it's so interesting by itself it doesn't seem to need trains.) Just to get a feel of what it will be like. And I agree get it published! IC125
  8. Hi "66", what make is the Scottish 37? Looks very nice. Cheers.
  9. Thanks Mick, I think it was 31285 as it was definitely 85 on the end. I'll see if it's still there and try and grab some pics.
  10. Hi Mick, looking god with the KFAs. Yesterday (or the day before, I forget) I saw 31485 and a MK1 generator and what looked like an Ultrasonic Test Unit at Bristol Temple Meads. I couldn't see it very well and could only see the 31 and the two MK1s. Is it a UTU? Thanks.
  11. Not eBay but a good buy anyway; I came across two Lima coaches, one a MK2b FK, the other a MK1 RBR. £3 each. The MK2 has a hole in the roof and the MK1 is missing a bogie but I have spares. On their way soon to be hacked around a bit!
  12. I finally finished the ballasting. Here are some pictures of my ZKA wagon and the new ballast.

  14. Hi Neil, nice work as usual. Keep looking in on this thread for inspiration. Love the pond! Don't, you're making me jealous.
  15. I noticed someone made a Co-Co class 81? That was proposed for the Eurotunnel.
  16. Hope you don't mind the hijack, sorry, but here are my close coupled Hachette MK1s which are the same as Bachmann ones. Hachette MK1 SK coach by firstbusphotos, on Flickr That is with cranked couplings from Bachmann (not the ones supplied with Bachmann coaches. The pipe coupling also allows close coupling but are for fixed rakes.
  17. Hi Rick, nice weathering, top job. I wish I had the courage to weather some of my stock. Comment about the Bachmann mk1s: they would look so realistic if they had close coupling. They would look great! I used cranked couplings on my Bachmann MK1s, and I think you could probably do the same with the MK2s?
  18. A couple more pictures for you all, I have added a fence around the bus depot that I don't think was present in the other photos. 00 gauge 7675 by firstbusphotos, on Flickr 00 gauge 9006 'The Fife And Forfare Yeomanry' by firstbusphotos, on Flickr 00 gauge 47406 'Rail Riders' by firstbusphotos, on Flickr 00 gauge 47406 'Rail Riders' by firstbusphotos, on Flickr 00 gauge breakdown tool coach and 2/3s of a class 101 DMU by firstbusphotos, on Flickr 00 gauge breakdown tool coach by firstbusphotos, on Flickr 00 gauge 16440 by firstbusphotos, on Flickr The fence can be seen in the last photo.

  20. I am also on iPad/iPhone. Another way to stop the pictures inverting is to edit > rotate > save > edit > rotate (x3) > save on 'photos'.
  21. Picked up a copy of RM on my way to Rome on Saturday and noticed Glenfinnick was in it. Looked really good and enjoyed reading it.
  22. Just saw your Wessex 442. I just remembered I have some Hornby MK3s lying around...
  23. Well, I can say it looks even better in real life than it does in the pictures. It really is superb
  24. Thanks for all the replies, I'll probably use my class 47.
