  1. Just use (internal use) single strand telephone wire, or single strand 22swg tinned copper wire soldered to the underside of the rail, you will find it much easier than brass wire I can put some 22swg tinned copper in the post if you want Geoff
  2. Which is understandable considering they don't manufacture it now Geoff

  9. As Mark as already said it is the amount of air that the compressor is producing in a given time known as CFM Cubic Feet per Minute, Regards Geoff
  10. From your description of how your sandblaster is working suggests that the air supply is inadequate before you press the trigger the air pressure is high then it's immediately dropping because the air supply cant keep up with the air volume required by the sandblaster Needs bigger compressor preferably with a tank Regards Geoff Cook
  11. The pick up wire is phosphor bronze, Not my gauge either it's an item Philip brought in and plonked on my desk, so that dad can do it. It fits inside a tin turtle. Geoff
  12. We can all do it. I accidentally switched on the power to my DCC system last Friday which was on the desk attached to a test track, sitting on the test track at the time was a pcb circuit board for a DCC booster complete and in working order, The DCC tripped but that wasn't quick enough to avoid any damage considering it takes 1.5amps to operate the trip Nothing let the smoke out but a few Ic's no longer work, parcel force bringing the chips tomorrow Geoff
  13. What's the thickness of the spacers, just thinking about how to fit power sockets, etc Geoff
  14. Will those metal trestles that are behind the boards not reach that height Geoff
  15. Martin You can't use the DCC track wiring as a common conductor it has to be kept separate from other circuits, Gordon is correct in his thinking about keeping them separate Geoff
