  1. Dam, Just came across this after taking to a Fellow modeller 2 days ago, Bought a Second hand one from a Friend last year, Went to Chip it last week and it had one end had broken off, Rang the chap up to ask if he had dropped as there was a crack in the plastic it and he mostly looks after his stuff and said he did not. Obviously now corrision is the issue and not care. Will have to contact Hornby now to see what tack to take.
  2. Good for the Local Models shop them The paying field is level for a change. They may be able to hang around a bit long. Got my E4 yesterday €124.00. Not bad at all.!!
  3. Gave one a Weathering over the past week. Came out nice. More pictures on my weathering pages on the Book of faces: >> https://www.facebook.com/pages/Wonderful-weathering/111818828902939?ref=hl and Here: http://www.wonderfulweathering.com/
  4. Mine Arrived in Ireland today, Amazingly small Box but well packed along with a Sneaky 2-Bil. The Tank ran out of the Box sweetly. Well done all concerned it was love at 1st sight!
  5. I would not worry about availability, The Locos will come around again perhaps with a Different number, I don't panic about this anymore, after all the effort in producing this there is hardly going to be one of each type coming out and then none ever again.
  6. I must admit I read with amusement that MN did run further than this and did not run on that, I wonder how many of us actually have a real location modelled, I for one have mostly Southern Equipment but have acquired an A4 and some other foreign locos that you might just see running alongside T9, WC, BoB, Schools etc....Delightfully I am not too worried about that too much!!....i will look forward to unpacking one of these beautys at some stage!!
  7. Its a pity that its for the UK only, I spend a fair few quid with them and I am in Ireland. Lots on order for SR modellers this year!
  8. No need to ask which way they are facing then!
  9. I worked in a model shop for 3 years, all what sold was mainly the Thomas sets, Rest of the Range way overpriced and stayed on the Shelf along with many other items in the Hornby range.
