  1. I've been seeing Holly Blues and Orange Tips in the garden, tried to get photos but they never sit still!
  2. Thanks Andrew, it's a couple of these, if they were converted would they have been re painted? I'm guessing they would have still ran around in whatever state of grey they weathered to.
  3. I've a couple of Bachmann 12t vent vans in BR Grey. I want to weather them, and I was wondering what years they would have been used as I can't find many photos on the web. Presumably they were unfitted so would have not seen much use after the 60's or earlier. Many thanks. Steve.
  4. Been getting daylight visit's from a fox as the days are longer now 🙂 Then on Tuesday morning found this little Muntjac sheltering from the rain in a neighbours garden, happily stayed put as I put the rubbish out. I wondered what's been eating stuff in the garden!
  5. Slipping Into Darkness - Ramsey Lewis
  6. Thanks for your replies. I couldn't find any moulding flash anywhere but while inspecting closer the (not sure of the correct terminology) valve gear was very slightly bent, and I think that was impeding the movement of the sliding bit. After very gentle tweaking, it runs a lot better.
  7. Hi Paul. I've been looking at the Wheel puller, do you know the diameter of the pin that pushes the axel out, it looks a bit big in the listing photo? I'm guessing most OO Gauge axels are 2/2.5 ml in diameter.
  8. Hopefully I'll get to see the layout at Shenfield, I'm exhibiting there for the first time myself, I'll have to get an Operator at lunch sign so I can come and have a look. 😉
  9. Not a bad reason for your absence Alan, must be heaven! Enjoy the summer 👍
  10. I've been going through my loco's and I've a Hornby 0-4-0 Peckett that runs fine at speed but pauses slightly at low speed. The best way to describe it would be it looks like it's limping! The pickups, wheels and track are spotless so I'm not sure what else it could be or how to find out about it. I was wondering if it could be the connecting rods catching or something like that but I can't find anything obvious and have tried loosening them slightly but that hasn't helped. Has anyone else experienced this? Many thanks.
  11. I like the 009 developments, the track's coming along nicely. Looking forward to seeing it all grow 👍
  12. I Hear Music In The Streets - Unlimited Touch
  13. Thanks Mark. To me the difference doesn't look noticeable at all. They do look so much better than the Bachmann version. 👍
  14. What pattern buffers are they Mark, are they standard Oleos?
  15. Thanks Chris, I think I will put one on my birthday list, I'd love to take some nice photo's of my stock.
  16. Thanks Paul, I'm only ever going to use it for Diesel wheels so I recon that should be ok.
  17. Hi Paul. I'm after getting a wheel puller to tweak back to backs and remove some wheels. Have you got a link to the one you have? I've seen a few on ebay but not sure what the diameter of the pressing rod is on them. Hope that makes sense!
  18. Thanks all for your help, I eventually found what I wanted from Cambrian, I also got some other stuff as well. Very helpful and a fast service! My stuff was sent out almost immediately.
  19. Very nice video, looks like a fine day with some superb modelling, thanks for posting. 👍
  20. This new Micro layout is looking mouthwatering already! 🙂
  21. Thos pictures look great, the light box makes a big difference. Been thinking about getting one myself.
