I always like to see a glass of red wine in a photo (just above the new shed). It either indicates the operators are relaxed and know what they are doing or chaos has descended. Either way I find it indispensable to railway modelling.

Damn! Another layout cut down in the prime of life. Oh well a house move has to take priority . . . I guess. My wife is concerned I will never contemplate moving again because of my train room. Good luck with the move and the rebirth of the layout.

Great stuff. A very enjoyable 21 minutes. My only criticism is I think you could at least smile when the camera is on you - you look very serious for someone who just has to be having a lot of fun controlling this impressive layout.

I had never looked at this layout before but when I read above that you have 200 Mk I coaches I knew I had to go back and read from the beginning. The magnitude of this project is awe inspiring. -

Yes but he is likely to get back from holidays and rip the whole thing up. We should enjoy Porth Merryn while we can.

Already on page 5! I ask this question somewhat afraid of the answer but - how many layouts do you reckon you could you fit in that shed of yours? (I note there is a gap between Porth Merryn and North Road)

If my wife found out that I had three (3) layouts on the go in my train room she would have me committed. I really do not know how you do it. Like Clive I am anticipating a multitude of changes before December - at least it should be fun to watch the changes.
