Expected and still better value for money than some other OO gauge diesels and electrics out there.

Ahha so you don't like sarcasm and jokes. Duly noted. I shall move it over to the Dapol and Hornby threads where old, monotonous, exaggerated and delayed jokes are still acceptable as they don't seem to be boring or a waste of space in certain sub-forums of rmweb. Ciao!

* sarcasm mode on * Nope, you have to choose the correct brand to joke about here. You can joke about delays and wrong fonts when it comes to Dapol and similarly you can joke about colour choices and duplication with Hornby. But just don't joke about Bachmann. Otherwise you will get pulled up for wasting one line of space on a forum. * sarcasm mode off *

I'll have one in N gauge!!

That makes sense. I always thought the Shinkansen ran on a gauge smaller than SG

But isn't the Japanese market 1:150? Or have I missed something?
-
Now that you mention it, I hope there's some smoke units out there that are good for this.

Where can I get these couplings from?
MGR Hooper! replied to MGR Hooper!'s topic in Modelling Questions, Help and Tips
Thanks, the Marklin ones are nice and long, need these as the locos that will be getting them have some rather long cow catchers. I think I saw Evemodel ones on AliExpress Thanks, they do look a bit short and the straight ones don't look like the are NEM compatible. I'll PM you later today. -

Oxford Rail announces - OO gauge Mk3 coaches
MGR Hooper! replied to MGR Hooper!'s topic in Oxford Rail
It would be nice to have the OR Mk3s in the Hornby range. An instant upgrade. -
Hey, I am not sure what these couplings are called, all I know is that they are used mainly on European HO scale models and most recently Hornby Mk3 coaches and Bachmann DMUs. I have absolutely no idea what they're called and haven't found them for sale at any of my usual haunts. I'm looking for a supplier for these either in The UK or a bulk supplier in China.

3D printed LHB/FIAT bogies, we are so impressed by the way these turned out. The wheels are 3D printed too and boy do they run smoothly!
-

The grille is more towards the front and therefore offset. It doesn't fill the entire short hood.
