Get well soon Russ. I broke my ankle 2 weeks ago but I'm still in, hobbling around in my moon boot pushing buttons and (swearing at) answering phones The supervisors there are very hit and miss, majority being miss, and they have no authority to grant or demand blocks of other companies or staff, that's our requirement and they cant enforce it. Out of curiosity what did the MOM say? As he is NWR he should have answered the debate correctly. thanks

37402 was the loco I spoke to. Had a giggle with the driver because GA had dumped units bloody everywhere in the Low Level and he had to shunt the locos onto another road so as not to block them in. GA treat the low level like kids treat a playroom....toys everywhere and never tidy up after themselves Thanks

A little something different for the region today. 0Z55 Bristol to Crown Point. 60055 DCR. En route to collect a rake of mk3s for scrapping. Returning on the GEML tomorro. I know it's not a Stadler but it is contributing to the demise of the mk3s which stadler are replacing....... that or just something to put a smile on everyone's face during lockdown. Take care all.

Signalling centres, ROCs, PSBs and single man boxes (in essex anyway) are all minimum staff currently. All trainees have been told to stay at home and revise/learn rules and regs, no visitors at all, only signalling staff are permitted to enter the premises, all workstations and panels are to be sanitised before and after each handover. All office staff are working from home and MOMs arent allowed on the ops floor and must call the workstation/panel regarding any incidents. That's the same for COSS/PICOPs, they're not permitted to enter. Most probably the same all over the country. Hope that answers any questions. Thanks

Morning all. A little info on the 755s during these quiet times. 37611 running manningtree to Ipswich as 0Z99 to collect a 755 in ipswich following the possible contamination of the cab after the guard had to self isolate in it following reports of a driver coughing uncontrollably. Will run to crown point for a deep clean. Take care.

Hi there. At the moment, a temporary fueling arrangement has been agreed to refuel in plt6 colchester between 2300 and 0300 and plt1 ipswich at specific times. That helps out the Ipswich units for the 2Wxx, 2Rxx and 2Dxx and the sudbury, Peterborough and 5D66 units at colchester. With regards to the fuel depot at ipswich, they are moving as they need more space to expand their operations. A wheel lathe is going in so they dont have to transport their wagons up and down the country tagged on the back of their intermodals taking up necessary space in rakes, a larger loco servicing depot so they can deal with locos closer to Felixstowe and not dead in train upto Crewe and lastly, so they can cut down on their delay minutes when we have to shunt them over the Up and Down mainlines as they arent booked moves. Getting the fuelled locos back over can be a nightmare and if not done swiftly, they start late and can rack up considerable delays. They are to continue having fuel delivered via 6L49 Lindsey to Ipswich. The space they are vacating is earmarked for extra platforms and not refueling as AGA dont want to have fuel delivered as they have C.point and Colchester, plus once all the units are de-restricted with the pan issue, they dont see a need to use a fueling point in Ipswich. Last thing, having the depot on the upside and having no future shunts across the running lines may assist in the re-signalling of the Ipswich panel onto a workstation as it will simplify the programming of the timetable and may also mean a much more simple track plan. Aaaaannnnndddd breathe Thanks
