  1. Not so much the costs increasing but that I can't afford to continue to cover the whole of the insurance costs and neither should Peter cover all of the hall costs which, in effect, was a donation to the event.
  2. Do you need that thickness of the card? If not, cut the framing from A4-sized self-adhesive label sheets. If you do, mount the card onto said label sheet before cutting.
  3. I had the good sense to destroy a warehouse door with a forklift before the days of You've been Framed.
  4. "Drops right at your door" Dave.
  5. Always an expression that makes it sound like the other person doesn't know what they're talking about.
  6. A point to consider: both parties use the TT colon 120 nomenclature, not necessarily proof in isolation but the point that both use the same font for such (ITC Lubalin Graph, as used in Hornby's logo, in the branding indicates there's been some cooperation or that Peco are very, very savvy.

  8. Sure, send it over to me at andyy@warnersgroup.co.uk, hopefully we can get you sorted.
  9. My apologies, if you were an original Goldie it was BRM access but WoR+ gives all the mags. It would be worth speaking to the subs department to see if they can convert you.
  10. Hang on a mo... You're a Goldie - you should be able to access it!
  11. We're not ignoring you; it's interesting to hear perspectives on this which we will discuss. It would be remiss of me not to mention World of Railways plus for digital access to Traction, BRM, Garden Rail, Narrow Gauge World and Engineering in Miniature for £5.99 a month. If you sign up for that at the moment you get a free ticket for Warley too plus one for Doncaster, Ally Pally or Bristol - https://www.world-of-railways.co.uk/information/warley-exhibition-free-ticket-offer-brm?openPageId=f4871948-1ab4-44e9-90a3-72286afd077d&utm_source=RM+Web&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=RMWEBWARLEY2022 for less than the cover prices of Traction. The digital approach also improves the question of image size (and over-inking!) plus it's dead easy to search for stuff. Here's a screenshot...
  12. My perspective is that if you haven't got space to store empty boxes (if you want to keep them) maybe you've got more stock than you need? Aside from the recyclable plastic much of the packaging materials (if you want to get rid) can be recycled into the scenery (cutting down on the amount of poly-based materials that are bought), acetate for glazing etc etc. First world problem if ever I saw one.
  13. Before leaping in it may be worth seeing what develops with @Wayne Kinney
  14. I appreciate the technical exactness but I'd be concerned that some may think it's another niche thus reducing engagement
  15. Now YOU are reading to much into something. The 'FN' referred to Heljan's possible future position. But you are getting to the point of annoying the hell out of me and that's nothing to do with the fact you are supportive of Hornby or the scale; it's the manner of the approach.
  16. You make that sound as though your perspective is superior, I can assure mine is more informed - from a primary source. You may also wish to make note how the post was signed off, TT:FN, the 'FN' has a meaning and if circumstances change it may be reviewed.
  17. I can only vouch for a few hundred that I've met, I think all the others were programmed by Kenton (and they all moan about JavaScript).
  18. They could have and consideration was given but, ultimately, as was said in their posting, they would want to be part of the scale being viable through a network of stockists. Now you know.
  19. It's more likely to be filming for TV and the time necessary to produce the series.
  20. AI analyses content and rephrases opinions to make it appear they are human, they tend to repeat back without checking whether their input is any different or adds value. "You know I hate to ask But are 'friends' electric? Only mine's broke down And now I've no-one to love."
  21. That's already been posted in multiple Lion topics.
  22. True, but I've done Crown Court four times and Coroner's Court twice. I've also had to get out of it twice due to holidays and work circumstances. The last time was some years ago and I did say that I felt I'd done my share and, fortunately, not been called again. There were a few frustrating cases where there was little doubt of guilt but technicalities brought direction from the judge to return a not guilty verdict. I did get reprimanded for uttering a barely audible "FFS" after two weeks of tedious technical evidence.
  23. I will flag up @TomE as being of the accurate and honest school.
