  1. How much?! I get odd looks buying several cans of cheap hairspray. Does the job!
  2. Yes, it finished about 8.30. Not sure if that's a result of the update until I check everything tomorrow.
  3. I'd have gone with 'hell freezing over' for comparative timescales. I really don't want to look at my calendar to see how long I've been waiting.
  4. For those wishing to make an informed purchase. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0sU5BYZKdfkQfySzScj1C2TG8CmYHMax4RY46mChfadhzRJX9BL4BDWsNbLftwkQNl&id=528285292&eav=AfbG-otjPKyBmDcvjAHM7RFXbRYEx8V8xs-TkfGH9eDzPVtebLFjdUVmH933RR-bPho&m_entstream_source=feed_mobile&paipv=0 Interesting.
  5. Does Just Make me think you're trolling now. Give IRM, and thus Accurascale, some credit for isolating Billy Bullshine from their initial processes very swiftly.
  6. A lot of money has already been spent before you see anything. Your argument is over before anyone else reacts to your 'thoughts'.
  7. Obviously a Tier 1 eBay seller. 🥺
  8. Ads are still showing in some sub-forums (inc. Accurascale), irrespective of membership level - I'm still waiting for a fix from our ad team.
  9. Don't spend it all, you can probably turn a profit when you come back that pays for the holiday.
  10. Strong enough to batter trolls and fanboys with? Asking for a friend.
  11. Decoupage layers of building silhouettes in washed-out colours getting increasingly pale in shade into the distance and then overlay with a layer of tracing paper set a few millimetres forward of those layers to diffuse the definition.
  12. No wonder you get people's backs up. But you've said you enjoy doing so; perhaps the outcome may be that you get ignored.
  13. It's more correct to say they will deliver their interpretation of what has not been specified.
  14. If you follow the link to the actual advert - the images are all there.
  15. It was a little odd at times; there was a good number of visitors corralled into the ante area ready for the off but because the space was so vast they seemed to disappear on opening but numbers kept building through the day on Saturday. I understand that when the floor plan was originally drafted a year or so ago that provision was made to give space if there were Covid implications. When it came to actually setting up the power droppers form the ceiling then influenced the position of each 'block' causing a shift towards each end (although there was still plenty of spacer in the aisles) leaving a larger gap in the middle. Never mind the layouts; I only recognised one trader from the boxes they put the stock out on display in!
  16. There's undoubtedly a few experiences to be learnt on making best use of the space and bring more in from the periphery but I think the move is excellent and the content very good, well done all! Nice to have plenty of room to enjoy circulating though. Stafford has won a promotion to the premier league of shows. Lovely to catch up with so many friends.
  17. And a third way, if inflation is 10% and they're not redeemed in that year you're only getting £9 worth of goods compared to the £10 if you'd spent them straight away. Mind you the same applies to a tenner!
  18. It will run just to the south of the showground alongside the location in the pics, maybe it's the first bit completed. ;)
  19. I've been up there this afternoon and evening and the selection of layouts is superb. I spent an hour or two photographing Copper Wort for a future article. I would suggest spending 15-30 minutes to really appreciate the exceptional amount of detail. Fork handles! No snow observed, it's safe to travel. I was surprised to find OLE equipment within 100 yards of the showground and an old OAA or similar!

  21. My colleague from posh Warwickshire believes Stafford to be 'north' and, for him, the Showground is high. Guildex has proved that such arduous journeys are possible for him but he prefers the bus.
