  1. It seems to be OK in my copy; give them a call and see if they can provide another copy.
  2. There's a good chance it is that. A nod back to Palitoy days. I was just playing the audio when the announcement video was playing and had a juvenile chuckle when Juicy Pears greengrocers was announced.
  3. I called in at the farm shop for some bits last week. Mistake! Half term with PYO pumpkins and dozens of kids (with unmasked parents) all over the place coughing and sneezing. Originally the shop made itself a safe environment but it just looked like they'd given up last week with signs removed etc.
  4. The former is an extreme and unchecked version of the latter. It's not for you to judge what our standards should be in terms of humour on such matters.
  5. No; just our IT department. There's another topic on the go.
  6. Do they have to keep their wheelie bins inside? That's what normally spoils a nice row of character terraced cottages. Love the internal downpipes and outlets. Toddled off to find the road and they're a bit more liberal a few doors along. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.5304161,-0.0494565,3a,75y,155.04h,96.79t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sasv-a7lbmPldlRVBIC7ekQ!2e0!7i16384!8i8192
  7. No; it's an unacceptable term and (whether you think I am lecturing you I care not one scrap) it is not phraseology which is acceptable or accepted on here. You have no choice in that.
  8. As is coming back to the topic in case anyone has experienced anything other than has already been noted. It's being worked on.
  9. Sometimes you've just got to see how something works and get the chisel and fat screwdriver out. Coreless motor, twin flywheels and cardan shafts. And, yes, it's all gone back together fine and still runs like a dream.
  10. I've escalated that. It seems to be occasional and goes on a refresh.
  11. I logged out, cleared RMweb cookies and browsing history, logged in again and I've not seen them again yet. Looks like a bag of broken cookies is the issue.
  12. It's being triggered by some changes to the ad software this afternoon. I'll make those who need to take a look at it know.
  13. I don't have that option so I'm doing the next best thing. Access to the topic now removed.
  14. Please await the report rather than asking questions which give rise to speculative answers or opinions.
  15. Can we leave anything speculative out of any discussions please and await the final report?
  16. It doesn't make him look an 'idiot'; that may be your opinion from it but I'm steadily forming my own of you based on your posts. I'd suggest piping down with some of your comments or I'll just remove you from the discussion.
  17. They don't have buffers. I've got one in front of me right now and over the length of the couplings it's 123mm.
  18. You have to give me chance to complete the content!

  20. I've just taken the review sample of the Fairlie for a spin and it's like a miniature sewing machine. Really, really smooth!
  21. BACHMANN NARROW GAUGE – OO9 SCALE DOUBLE FAIRLIE SPECIFICATION The Bachmann Narrow Gauge Double Fairlie locomotive follows in the footsteps of the award winning Baldwin 10-12-D, Bachmann Narrow Gauge’s first OO9 scale locomotive which was released to great acclaim in 2018. Synonymous with the Ffestiniog Railway, the Double Fairlie is an icon of the Narrow Gauge world and this instantly recognisable locomotive is now available in OO9 scale for the first time. The Bachmann Narrow Gauge model incorporates a high level of detail, with tooling designed to accommodate the detail variants seen on the real locomotives in order to produce a model of the highest fidelity, which is brought to life by the exquisite livery application that combines Ffestiniog Railway-specification colours with authentic lining, crests and plates. The precision moulded bodies are adorned with numerous individual components, including the real brass handrails and the metal tank filler cap rings, along with fine mouldings for parts such as the steam fountain, cab controls and tallow cups. The mechanism is similarly impressive with a twin shaft coreless motor, fitted with twin flywheels, driving both bogies, all-wheel electrical pick up and separate metal bearings fitted to each axle. Provision for DCC is a given and the model incorporates a Next18 DCC decoder socket, easily accessed via a removable panel on the underside of the model, plus pre-fitted speakers on all versions – or why not opt for a SOUND FITTED model and really bring your layout to life. MECHANISM:  Coreless, twin shaft motor with two flywheels providing drive to both bogies  Electrical pickup from all wheels  Separate metal bearings fitted to each axle  Diecast metal running plate  Diecast metal chassis block and bogie towers  Diecast metal gearboxes, with gearing arranged for prototypical running speeds and haulage capabilities  9mm (OO9 narrow gauge) wheels to NEM310 standards with authentic profile and detailing  Coupling pockets to NEM355 standards fitted to each bogie, into which a standard OO9 coupling hook assembly is fitted  Designed to operate on curves of first radius (228.6mm) or greater DETAILING:  Highly detailed and decorated cab interior including separately fitted regulators and gauge frames  Separately applied details including Tallow Cup Lubricators, Steam Fountain, Sand Pots with turned brass detail (where applicable), Smokebox Dart/Wheel, Vacuum Pipework (where applicable), Brass Handrails and metal Tank Filler Cap Rings.  Each model supplied with a set of authentically decorated etched name plates DCC:  Next18 DCC decoder interface  Easy-access DCC decoder socket located behind removable panel on underside of model SOUND:  Speaker installed in all models for optimum sound reproduction  Zimo MX659N18 DCC Sound Decoder fitted to SOUND FITTED versions  Sound files produced specifically for the Bachmann Narrow Gauge Double Fairlie using recordings from real locomotives  SOUND FITTED models operate on DCC and Analogue control as supplied LIVERY APPLICATION:  Authentic liveries applied to all models  Multiple paint applications employed on each model using Ffestiniog Railway specification colours  Logos, numerals and text added as appropriate using multi-stage tampo printing incorporating authentic typefaces, logos, crests and colours 391-100 OO9 Ffestiniog Railway Double Fairlie 'Merddin Emrys' FR Lined Green £234.95 391-100SF OO9 Ffestiniog Railway Double Fairlie 'Merddin Emrys' FR Lined Green £334.95 391-102 OO9 Ffestiniog Railway Double Fairlie 'Earl of Merioneth’ FR Lined Green £234.95 391-102SF OO9 Ffestiniog Railway Double Fairlie 'Earl of Merioneth’ FR Lined Green £334.95 391-103 OO9 Ffestiniog Rly Double Fairlie 'Livingston Thompson' FR Lined Brick Red £234.95 391-103SF OO9 Ffestiniog Rly Double Fairlie 'Livingston Thompson' FR Lined Brick Red £334.95
