Steel Works Locos
gpplumy replied to Busmansholiday's topic in UK Standard Gauge Industrial Modelling
I'll speak with the others and we will try and come up with a "at the current time " info list. And pleased love to see more of your janus photos As for no 30 shes currently out of use having more work done. At least 3 hunslets now have the heavier chassis and 2 or three in the new blue livery -
So some more loco work . And some more detail scenery . The steam fleet has been out and about. Mineral wagons exchanged for some plank wagons and loads. And some weathering taken plance .

Hi Michael, did you build the test etch from the drawings I'd sent to you? You collected them from pete briddons shed a couple of years ago now I think it was. Look forward to seeing it. Andrew -

gpplumy replied to gpplumy's topic in Non-modelling Events
Thanks for replying to that jon as jon said there is plenty of parking outside our main office block. And there are signs along brigg road stating "railtours" if you need any more help dont hesitate to contact me -
A few other photos from a few days ago of locos and the shed again. I do have some items for detailing inside including figures. However due to the idea of the layout being able to be stripped down to just flat boards for transport, how have others stuck items like figures down. I was considering clear plasticard

I'm really glad to hear its bringing some inspiration to others :). There so much I could ask for the the way of pictures I wouldent know where to even start. I've been using my access to what we have at the afrps and then online and pictures I've obtained myself. There is no doubt something I can always add for years to come!
