  1. I'll get the information posted as soon as I can find it again. I know it's in march ! Following that it should be at scunthorpe modern image show. Thanks mark. I need to get some plastcard sections bought and some pipe to use!
  2. So the layout is finally looking the part. One major piece is yet to be built being a pipe bridge which will span the entrance to the fiddle yard and across the workshop. Mainly to hide the entrance to the fiddle yard. A board facia also needs adding to the front of the layout. Over time more detailing work will be added including figures and scenes in the road area. There is also work to continue on some locos to make sure they are ready. All being well it will be "complete" for the yorkshire wolds model show.
  3. Hi Michael, I take it that the 0-8-0 sentinel is from the drawing I sent over to you at andrew briddons ? I think we have a few photos in the afrps collection if you would like me to take a look thought them. May take some time but I can see what I can dig up Andrew Afrps publicity coordinator
  4. So ballasting is now in the drying system and the buildings have lighting. Some temporary and some stuck inside. Overall to make it ready for the show the next job is the pipe gantry and painting unseen the back scene
  5. Another re numbering to janus number 1. And attacking with some weathering. Also this ruston thing turned up from a certain someone
  6. So backscene on. Buildings out. Just a little more to do. But maybe a play night....
  7. The 2020 winter afrps railtour dates are now available. Also remember to check out our Facebook page.
  8. You mean the red American locomotive. I'll ge the details later . I think it's a Bachmann 49tonner
  9. I'd not actually thought of that. And your right I see it enough at my work haha. May have to make an edit lol
  10. Hi dave. To answer your questions in words and pictures; The wagons are made by rix models in america https://rixproducts.com/product/ingot-buggies-molds-ho/ You get 3 per pack. They have plastic wheels but I have a link to metal wheels that fit. And the moulds are removable. The last image shows the buggies upside down. I've just finished painting them all up now. And left the moulds loose so I can just run the buggies.
  11. Hopefully she will be featuring again at the yorkshire works railway with the layout plumtree steel
  12. Slowly progressing in the backscene area. The backscene is fitted and strengthened and details being made up to fit. As well as a eake of 12 ingot wagons.
  13. More images once again of loco testing. Also the office and workshop buildings are now weathered and pretty much complete. Mainline locos have been tested for excursion loco testing. Hopefully the final backscene parts will be acquired for finishing it off and ballasting will also commence
  14. A little more testing and test fitting. The new workshop building seated in place in the new yard and a view inside of the workshop equipment. And of some of the new wagons patrolling the narrow gauge lines .
  15. Just a couple more photos of the layout with the extra scenic and some other locos
  16. We tested a ruston on my layout without the wagon. And ran over all gaps and points with ease without stopping.
  17. One is powered by power bogies of an unknown origin. The other is a scratch built chassis with a motor and a flex coupling a little like the Bachmann designs used today
