  1. Looks brilliant Iain! Next up must be a green one though
  2. Try spraying thinner without the colour cup on, just squirt some in to the side. If it sprays like this, the problem is in the shaft of the colour cup. I've had this issue before.
  3. It's funny how people react to someone else's personal wealth (or lack there of) Personally, I wouldn't care if you or anyone else had Bill Gates money, the exceptional level of modelling shown here is incredibly impressive and most of all for me, inspirational. You cannot buy the skills and talent you've shown here in your work Simon.
  4. It definitely would have gotten that dirty mate. I've got photos of pretty new Streamlined Duchesses that are filthy and that was when the railways had a lot of cleaners compared to after the war.
  5. No Lizzies were wartime black. All were still red. All of the Duchesses bar 6230, 6232, 6233 and (I think) 6234 were black. Those ones were red, 6232 possibly 6230 until BR ownership.
  6. Off the top of my head (scary I know) Lizzie went from 46 Lined Black straight to the trail BR Lined Black (bascially the mixed traffic livery) in 48/49.
  7. Is that a green Stanier tender I spy? Henry next? *fingers crossed*
  8. Received my copy on Friday Simon, quite possibly the best yet. Two quick questions, what will number 16 be about and will it come out sooner than 15?
  9. The three tenders will most likely be 9 ton Stanier 10 ton Stanier 10 ton Stanier with Coal pusher (46206 had this) Though they may do the original tenders that 6200 and 6201 carried though the three above would be the safe bet.
  10. Wrong thread maybe? Also where did this picture come from?
  11. The tender is different in that the rivets aren't in the same pattern/lines, no coal pusher, different tender vents and as you rightly say Rob, 6256's tender had roller bearings.
  12. The Princess certainly will be much, much better than the old, quite poor and inaccurate tooling.
  13. No love for Lime Street? For me it's every bit as good as any of the brilliant layouts shown in these last few pages.
  14. They look great mate. I'd still go a lot heavier on the weathering on the LNER brake roof. White wouldn't have stayed white for more than a few days back in 47.
  15. https://www.modelu3d.co.uk/product/2279/ Would these be of interest?
  16. What spray paint do you use Jack? I've tried a bunch of different ones and Tamiya is light years ahead of anything I've tried here. They are the only sprays that I've never had any issues with, no matter the temperature.
  17. There wasn't a single chimney rebuilt Royal Scot though. There wasn't a single chimney rebuilt Scot though.
  18. If you do get them 3d printed I'd happily buy a set.
