  1. You can also strengthen the baseboards too for double heading....
  2. Yeah, its a loco that could or could not be done in the future..... On the positive one of the three with RFD branding giving it a little uniqueness, but at the same time already done in DB as Marco Polo!
  3. No rush, quite happy to let the funds build up before depletion..... There was a title on YouTube recently about Ireland secretly becoming the richest country in the world..... Have you guys got anything to do with that?
  4. Patience..... Just get the vacuum cleaner out, with the traction motor blowers its not much different. Just tell the family you are not in a cleaning mid-life crisis, but require the vacuum cleaners acoustic properties while waiting for a sound chip.....
  5. Would have thought thats quite a rare one. Did the pair ever work double headed together in those liveries? Even just a positioning move from Laira to Exeter??? I take it if the Civil Engineer had have done refurbishment, then Laira would have been asking to paint the DCWAs in that..... A cast ship depot plaque would have looked pretty good on that too.
  6. Nice looking renumber jobee. What do you recommend then to remove the Numbers and Names?
  7. Kind of, but after Rail Express criticised a certain product many years ago, there appears to be a 'free press' unwritten rule.... 'Thou shall not upset' .......... '
  8. Was the 66 on straight or an incline? I have had a 66 pull 12 HYAs up my rather steep incline. If 1 HYA is coupled to 9 PFAs on the gradient it will sometimes just overcome the friction in the HYA. The Class 66 haulage capability is phenomenological - be interested to see how the 92 performs.
  9. Yeomans New Trains a whitewash... The (white) Spirt of Yeoman..... Yeomans new trains are all white (literally)...
  10. 7 inch gauge, full would be a good version.....
  11. Yes, there was another left next to it at one point. Was that 50023?
  12. Everyone must have loved the white spirit smell and dry skin afterwards. Are the handrails knurled like 66 ones?
  13. Hi Roy - Apologies for any confusion. Absolutely no criticism whatsoever. I was just making the point that ultimately comments on here are taken seriously by Accurascale, and may have an impact on the models produced, which is a huge financial cost to them, thus if someone is suggesting something or strongly objecting to another's view, then at very least you should be seriously looking to purchase it in those guises. Not just say it, walk away and at best, hope to collect it as an Accurascale postcard, while A/S try and move a few hundred to everyone else, that would have been a better choice as something else. The Classic example is 50037 - in Hornby - small and large logo (which while not to Accurascale Standards, are still fairly decent) never in NSE with West of England as per the end of its life, or as a real niche - its short lived Laira Blue. Why would you do Small or Large Logo on that, when there are other options for Illustrious, and lots of other Blue Large and Small Logo candidates that have never been done.
  14. If that is regarding any of my previous comments, then I firmly believe that everyone has a right to an opinion on liveries, reliveries etc. , but also that's its important to remember that Accurascale do take content on here seriously and consider it when making decisions, and these decisions cost Accurascale a lot of money, therefore such comments need to be made with likely purchase in mind, not just to fulfil an ego.
  15. The plastic underneath is about perfect, it's just the paint on top that hides it..... I'd leave the PTAs for a year or two until you get around to something proper to pull them......50149 Unless you have any other skeletons in cupboards......Class 47(901) or a GM. I don't think that those 3D printed geezers have been near a Class 56,or that it is likely!
  16. Amazing what you find in skips at Christmas, when you know the right people...... Is it supposed to say TT?
  17. Technicalities. Just put a Hornby 50 with sound, in it powered with a battery, and push the train! Failing that, first 50 to become a DVT, to drive the loco attached on the back pushing...
  18. Really good list, not checked it all thoroughly yet. 50050 Lima, was done large logo but with Peco instead of Fearless name. Clutching at straws..... 50035 in Early NSE Grey Primer, or perhaps a good candidate if a renumber goes wrong! Just a thought, would there be an easy way of colour coding it? I think it is probably fair that Hornbys 2022 announcement of 50042/44, whilst accurate to list could probably be disregarded as a model done. I am sure very few on here will be purchasing them at £220+.....when they can wait a little longer for..........
  19. Thanks...... Klear, now that is a name from the past...... Tried numerous times to source to no avail. Even bought a floor cleaning product once, but without the alleged effect!
  20. Didn't Fran say earlier that the D4xx will have removable plates and MU cables in the accessory pack?
  21. The bling ones..... are the ones with the Cast Ships Crests, 50149 with its cast TTG embellishments and 50007 GWR.
  22. One with NSE flashes on the head code box is the answer.....
  23. Only ones not modelled from memory..... 50005/6/12/14/16/22/29/32/39/47 Plus 50050, has only ever been done as D400, unless you count the Peco 50th Anniversary Model. The likes of 50043 was done by Lima in the very beginning, so not the greatest livery application ever....Certainly shows its age, but probably a prime Late NSE Candidate - Was preserved in it, plus small name so good renumbering potential. About the only thing easier is Lion, but Hornby did that in a light NSE blue......
