  1. A few pictures from tonight’s running session, with class 108 DMU in charge of the passenger service, and class 25 on the speedlink.
  2. It’s looking really good now Matt. That backscene is superb.
  3. I could not resist a night shot after installing the light .
  4. A lamp has been fitted under the canopy , ready for the night parcels trains .
  5. The final part to be added to the warehouse building is a canopy over the large door. I have used a scrap Airfix canopy end with a scratch built roof
  6. I know this location has been modelled many times, but I think this version is going to be excellent and I am looking forward to the progress updates .
  7. Vandals been smashing windows again
  8. Painting finished on the brickwork and a hoist bar fitted to the top floor door
  9. Here shows how I made the vents from a piece of scrap plasticard
  10. I have used micro strip for the window bars glued on with Mek Pak . The top arch bricks are from Wills . Bottom sill is thick plastic strip .
  11. Painting the brick work with a light grey to represent the mortar, and then with a dry brush coat of sandstone colour. A third coat of matt black dry brushed on will be added later to complete the brick work.
  12. Been a while since I did an update to Drabford, here’s a few pictures of work in progress to the warehouse building . Originally it was planned as a flat roofed building, but I wasn’t happy with it. So I decided to add the apex style roof sections to make it more interesting, and give more height to the background.
  13. A little more progress with the low relief warehouse building. The window frames are now completed, and doors added. The left two windows have been bricked up to add a little more detail. Next job is to make a canopy to go over the loading door.
  14. 47 035 leaves Drabford shed with a speedlink train.
  15. A little more progress with cutting out the doors and windows. Also adding the sills with strips of black plasticard.
  16. That's enough work for tonight. Thanks for looking. Shaun
  17. All window and door arch overlays fitted now.
  18. I made a template to cut the window tops the same curve. Then I'm putting the Wills Brick Arch Overlays on top. Cheers Shaun
  19. Using the same type of embossed stone plasticard as the station building / goods shed. A new attached warehouse is under construction. Cutting out the plasticard and planning where windows are going and other details..
  20. The skyline of Drabford behind the station area I think needed something more, as the area to the right looks more busy and built up . So I have decided to make a new low relief warehouse building to fill in the sky area.
  21. Does that mean I should post the Chinese take away update on a Saturday evening I'm working on that at the moment. Thanks for the kind comments Shaun.
  22. Chip shop extraction pipe also added for extra detail. Cheers Shaun.
