I'm working on the shop interiors at the moment. The Launderette is finished and the Chinese and chip shop now have counters in . More updates soon Cheers Shaun.

Disguising the hidden fiddleyard with the flats and other shops has been a bit of a task because of the limited space.

A few pictures to show construction of the low relief flats. Made from "Slaters" embossed brick sheet onto plain white plasticard.

Excellent detail on them . Not seen them before. My washers cost me 10p to print the Scalescenes sheet of at my local library. Did them last year but only just got around to fitting them . Cheers Shaun.

A little more progress with the flats and shops. Bubbles Launderette is now open . I have used the Scalescenes washing machines . Im working on the Chip shop next. I will glaze all the shop fronts when I have finished the details. Cheers Shaun.

08 173 Shunts the ferryvan into the shed.

Here's some more from today's running session. 47 035 arrives at Drabford with a Speedlink train . And a 3 car 108 DMU arrives. In the stabling sidings is 24077, 25034 and 25279.

Fitted the curtain to front of the layout with Velcro strip . So its quick to put on and take off at future shows. (Hopefully next year). That's enough work today. Back to operating . Thanks for looking Shaun.

The shops and flats still have lots of work to be done. I intend to fit interior lighting and detail the shop interiors . So it will be a while until they are fixed in position to the layout . I am planning on setting the layout up next week. So more updates soon. Cheers Shaun.

Drabford at the moment is not set up. Its been stacked up a few months now. But some work has been done to the shops and new low relief flats have been constructed. The street area has also made a little progress with pavements and a retaining wall.

I intend to detail the interiors and will eventually fit lightning, so seperate rooms have been made.

Heres some progress pictures of the 1960's style shops with flats above . Using plasticard sheet and Slaters embossed brickwork. At first the design was for four shops but I later decided to extended to five.

More progress with the Railway Hotel pub. I have used the Slaters letter set for the pub name. All finished now. Cheers Shaun.
