Twice the pleasure for Re6/6 today. Olympic tickets arrived and a 'by return' order of the new Noch 'XL' 10mm fibres (from Hawkwells of Blackwell..usual disclaimer) has arrived and will be experimented with today. They certainly look just the thing for very long grass in 4mm!.

Woke up this morning, put on my hat, went down the yard and had a shat, the rain was pouring down and I went into a dream, I was young again and watching loads of steam….

To ensure each day is not wasted, I plan each day the night before. So this morning I had the hedge to cut, the lawns to mow, a boatload of timber to take to the tip and a visit to the accountant. Hey presto all done by 1pm so now I’m bored!

Just seen a thread about unwanted popups. I think one can get medication to prevent that embarrassing condition.

The old chap across the road bought some large bags of something from Tesco and it killed his lawn. When I asked what it was he said he didnt know but that he couldnt complain at the price!

Really disappointed with Bachmann - apparently my new 57 that went Pete Tong after 5 mins was not from a registered dealer hence warranty isn't covered.
