These chains really are a pain have totally removed from one model and another only has 3 in situ, I just cannot locate the part which goes into the body and then with all the messing have scraped the paint off the part so decided to do without! Not ordered a second batch one but am tempted to just to have a complete model. -

I finally got around to fitting the sound chip and speaker to my deltic- it does rattle though when the sound is on- how can i get around that what techniques have you all used? thanks mark -

Fair enough each to their own I think the title which was cropped off for some reason was the difference (or indifference) between cats and dogs. Which may or may not be true. mark

Thank you I did manage and have posted in the Heljan 31 thread I think, I took it wire by wire and by some miracle it works! It ain’t pretty though with wires everywhere though. Had to use a choc block too but now can’t remember why! Thanks for your reply though.

There is a blue/ grey DBSO up on eBay now- haven’t seen this livery come up often, did Bachmann alter the tooling or can they still produce this livery? Mark

Spoke with Phil today and he said essentially the pandemic robbed them of 2 year’s development and production. Again suggested summer for these and probably next year for the 24. I did ask about ‘other’ models (ie are they working on another class) but he said the 24/ 25 have plenty of life in the variety available to bring to market.
