    Thanks Phil, I haven't seen the email you have ,my opinion was at best an assumption. Once Hornby have started to inform others of their intentions they start to lose control of the information as we have seen with 2 leaks. I can only go off previous years when leaks have occurred and the world continued to rotate that Hornby outwardly at least didn't seem to get their knickers in a twist over it. However being within the media and hobby as you are you may know differently? Cheers Mark

    Does it really matter in the great scheme of things if the embargo gets broken- its not the official secrets act and it actually generates more discussion and debate around Hornby keeping the name to the fore. I suspect they are not that bothered over in Margate.

    I have had 2 locos from the subsequent batches (including the res one) with no issues with the bogies at all. Also I haven’t read any reports on here or elsewhere regarding bogie issues so I suspect you will be fine. cheers mark

    KR have asked for expressions of interest in the 40 but are they going to be asking for payment up front? Has this occurred with every model so far? I have no idea about their cash flow but as they build up and sell the portfolio of models would they get to the point they can fund the model development without asking for full payment up front. I don’t think a deposit is unreasonable.

    Never used to be but this one’s turning into a proper lap cat. She has been with us just over a year now and will actually lie on my knee and also seem to relax while doing it. Previously she looked ready to spring off at any minute. I do wonder how much of it is to do with sharing heat while the weather is cooler. Will see how much attention I get in the summer.

    I don’t watch Sam’s trains so have no idea if he has actually bought any Hornby locos this year, I don’t think I bought more than a couple although I believe he did slate the Coca Cola wagon quite forcefully suggesting no bias there. He can’t review (slate) what he hasn’t bought. Anyway to try to drag this back to wish lists how about an updated 110 please Hornby.

    I would screen shot that order then you can prove to rails the terms you agreed to buy- I didn’t and regretted it - they didn’t seem to believe what I was saying. I will agree I got it wrong over the promised pre order price (didn’t apply to the exclusive shop editions) but at no point did rails inform me of a price rise.

    Have spoke with rails who said the same although previously they have always notified me of a price increase and asked if I wanted to proceed but not on this occasion. Anyway there is a spare ravel should someone else want it!

    Possibly but at no point did rails inform me of a price rise and up to last week the amount on my pre order showing as owed was £219

    So ordered my class 92 Ravel from rails when the price was £250 (prior to the price increase deadline set by Accurascale) however they have tried to charge me the higher price and denied there was a price change. Have cancelled order and has left a bitter taste. I am not going mad they were £250 to start with then a price increase wasn’t there?

    Sorry to resurrect an old thread but wondering if anyone has the same issue or how you resolved it. Our loft was boarded by the previous owners and looking up there today have found damp spots probably caused by condensation on the floor. The picture is the worst patch. I have been told roof vents would cure this but unsure how as this would only make the loft colder? Thanks in advance

    I did ask SK at Warley the date of the announcement and he told me the 9th Jan but obviously this may have changed or Simon told me wrong and its now the 10th but I did ask him specifically about the suggestion they were going to 4 announcements per year as Bachmann doo as mentioned in the latest financial report. He stated this next announcement covers the whole year.

    Despite asking for a parcel redirection to the pick up shop DHL delivered to my home. Now I have some explaining to do- thanks a bunch DHL and Accurascale! Nice loco though (92001).

    I collected 2 from my local shop only 1 had a barcode and for the other which was a text notification they asked for a pickup code from the text which was an AXXXXXX (6 digit code) which they keyed in and released the parcel.

    So batch 2 in 40 days so batch 1 sooner or has batch 2 overtaken batch 1 and we are having some kind of batch race (could batch 3 be coming up the rail on the inside about a length behind)! Sorry losing the plot somewhere.

    So the latest rails of Sheffield email which lists the Dapol releases expected dec/ Jan doesn’t list the class 59- have they missed the boat?
