    I had not renewed my membership as they have not produced anything of interest to me for years then along cane the J72. I have renewed but will let it lapse until the next time. Yes it will be a premium but it will still be cheaper than fleebay in a few months time

    Steve, I have not been on here for a while unfortunately. Completely missed the poll. I would have selected S160, J21, A8 and Standard 3. Too late now of course. cheers John

    I did not vote but would definitely be interested in an S160. Model BR but would find a home for one on my layout anyway. Who is up for the challenge manufacturers?

    Attended today. Some brilliant layouts. Trade was a little disappointing, lots of general boxshifters and secondhand locos/ rolling stock. Would recommend more specialist traders are needed for an exhibition of its size. It would be nice to see more local societies and preservation groups supported. Much better than the Railex NE show though

    Absolutely fantastic news for North East modellers. Just preordered via a local Preservation group helping to support their restoration project. I heard a rumour today and that these could arrive as early as December. Is this correct?

    Picked up my first batch of HUO’s at Pontefract exhibition the other weekend. Brilliant models. Mine will be mixed in with the Hornby 21tonners. Will be definitely getting another batch. Are there a new number batch coming out in the future?

    Have to agree about the food. £2.50 for a bottle of pop. Mind I think they are missing an opportunity to get the future of the hobby through the door. Let under 16’s in for a £1 or less. Warley do it spent nothing on the trade either this year. Prices pumped up probably to cover stall rents. Bought all items I wanted whilst at the show off EBay. Saved £30. I can wait a few days. Some good layouts though!

    All eyes on Oxford after the dire announcements by Bachmann and lack of interesting items from Hornby. DJ Models seems to have vanished so hopefully Oxford have their act together. While to wait for the TMC G5, the only item that I’m personally wanting for.

    I have never had a bonus gift for the last 2, 12 month subscriptions and as for the lower price it’s pennies. It should be the same delivered through the door as on the shelf in the shops, especially when BRM is guaranteed the sales. If I’m picking a mag at Tesco I will pick and choose. Just my thoughts anyway and will probably revert to picking one with my shopping. In terms of the DVD. Not watched any in the last 14 months.

    Anyone realised when you have a 12 month subscription you do not get the freebies that is in the shop editions? Very disappointing!!

    i think it is why is the NRM partnering with a model railway shop? They have produced many great models in the past to be fair so do not need rails.

    I'm happy enough with the 3 Bachmann Deltics in my collection. Good luck with the model though and I hope it leads into many new models

    I think it all comes down to insurance risk. If setup is not complete due to late arrives it’s only right to keep the general public out.

    I was speaking with a trade at the weekend. Stated he received 30 of the vans and had to put the wheels back in all but 1. There were also buffers hanging off and couplings missing. Stated he has to check everything coming from Dapol a lot of QA issues
