  1. Really surprised no one has produced theses to date
  2. J27 for me also. Could be made easy scanning the real thing when it goes back together. Sure the NELPG lads are not too far off bringing her back into service
  3. Certainly not the aim! Completely support Dave. I really feel for him. He has done a lot of leg work by confirming appetite and demand for others to nip in and announce the same models. Smacks of the market is all ours back off. I was just suggesting what ever he instigates they will build it!!
  4. Dave, Please can you announce the J27, J21 and A8. I guarantee someone else will announce them in the next 18 months!

One for locomotion models potentially but completely agree.

Really pleased Hornby have finally looked at the NER. I'm sure they will sell out. Bring on the North east haters!! Just disappointed they have done one over DJModels again and there is plenty of other locomotive classes that could have been looked at. Hope someone announces the J27 next!
  7. Some great restoration and preservation taking place there. Keep up the great work!
  8. I don't think a voucher would even cover the cost of a class 31 considering the recent price hikes. I too would be requesting a full replacement. At the time I discovered the issue you got a full replacement receiving D5511, but I requested a block and repaired myself for some strange reason
  9. Would this include the rail side of the business also? I believe Taff had promised an announcement on the next rail items earlier this year. I wonder if he is leaving it late in the development stage to avoid being beaten the shops with future products from other manufacturers
  10. I just requested a replacement block and changed everything over. I had a hairline crack in one corner. Caught mine before it did the real damage. Tiny amount of plastic weld on the inside of the body and it is fine. Chipped it up whilst I had the body off. No issues since
  11. Have to agree with you to be fair. It's been announced by others previously Dapol for the 121 and DJ Models for the 117. Are the manufacturers running out of different classes to produce. Bachmann are my favourite manufacturers to be fair but don't like the muscling in on others previous announcements. Could be a good few years before we see it with Bachmann's recent progress with new models. still no sign of the likes of the Stanier mogul. Is that nearly 4 years since announcing?
  12. I don't think that would be the case with the online polls, you can only vote once! Some people have a real objection to the North east getting some NER models.
  13. Cannot be long now? We're Oxford rail going to announce another project to follow? J27 would be nice!
  14. Excellent layout. Seen at Spennymoor today. Recommend anyone free tomorrow call in and see this layout and others.
  15. I hope it is the J21! Joint venture with the preservation group aiming to restore the locomotive

Hi all, is there a step by step fix for the running plate? I really don't want to send mine back and risk not getting a replacement. Agree with others, ridiculous you need to fix it in the first instance!
  17. It looks like oxford are well in control of their manufacturing and not reliant on someone making it for them and the cost probably reflects that. Good to see some healthy competition for Hornby and Bachmann
  18. Have to agree an excellent model and I believe there were a few of them built. No 5 and No29 both preserved. Anymore anyone? I think there seems to be an appetite for industrials at the moment and they can fit most folks layouts. The sentinel and the J94 show that. I will be ordering from Hattons probably 2.
  19. Looking forward to Warley. Hopefully something further for the North East
  20. Would love BR version but that's too expensive for me. Yes a great model but no pay rise for the last 4 years. Someone mention earlier about us still exiting a recession and could not agree more.
